Looks like someone's fantasy - not mine, unfortunately

This is clearly another of Jojo's fantasies - visual style, sets, focus on sexual tension and sex itself all point to that. Since the emphasis is put on those things, story becomes unimportant and it's presentation makes it harder to take it seriously. On one hand - that's not really bad, as most BLs are desexualized and should focus more on relations between main characters and forming of their relationships. I stated this many times in comments and reviews: in a BL setting of the story is in service to the main plot - the guys becoming a couple and/or being in a relationship. That's what the story should be about. On the other hand - I'm not sure how future episodes will go about the story, will it be sidelined (will we get ep. 1 on repeat) for the sake of more visuals, or will there actually some development.Performances: Khaotung is good, First is alright, Joong felt off and weird (no idea why, normally he's okay), while Dunk (still) can't act and gave a weird, unconvincing performance. I'm used to that already, so it bothered me far less than it should.

A blatant defense of homophobia

I'm okay with homophobic characters in BL - real world is still full of these idiots, so including these scum in a story is acceptable for sake of realism or to create an obstacle for a same-sex couple to form a relationship or stay together. What I'm not okay is having such a character presented as being justified, having legitimate concerns or voicing an opinion or point of view in a debate. Homophobia is evil, plain and simple, like racism or antisemitism. Any show, not just a BL, cannot leave any doubt about it. Homophobia is never justified and indefensible; presenting it in any other way as literal evil (regardless of where it comes from - outright malice, ignorance or stupidity, it doesn't matter) is not allowed. This episode does exactly that, presenting Teerak's father as an idiot, but acting in good faith (actually acting out of seflishness, which the show also fails to point out), and going so far as defending him: Teerak's mother saying "I know you’re disappointed. So am I" is inexcusable. It's 2025 for crying out loud, and this is a show made in 2024 - sounding like one of those idiotic early BL's from 8-10 years ago. Whoever allowed this crap to be aired should be fired on the spot. I gave this episode a rating of 1.0 because MDL doesn't allow a lower rating to be submitted.

Poor quality and dropping

The ForceBook portion of this series was mediocre, but somewhat consistent - the delivery was what we came to expect from both mains (Force - wooden and emotionless, Book - lackluster and boring), the writing was weak, none of the characters had any depth and most lacked any characterization. This was already looking pretty bad, but turned even worse once PerthSanta took over - and this episode is a fine example of that. What we have here is: 1/ MAME-level of bad, cringy writing - meant to generate involvement and induce emotions in the audience, it instead annoys and sends all the wrong messages about non-consensual behavior, using violence, lack of communication etc., 2/ laughably bad performances - the only guy in the entire cast who can actually act (Aungpao) was again relegated to some pointless and utterly unimportant background character, 3/ a horribly mismatched main couple, with Perth visibly uncomfortable with being in a BL. I'm not saying this is a new low for GMMTV - this is still watchable (unlike "We Are", "Never Let Me Go" or "Enchante" - to name just a few dreadfully bad BLs by this company), but it gets worse with each episode.

This feels like plastic

There was something weird, something off about most of the delivery by First and Khao in this episode, and it went beyond what they were saying and how they were saying it. Since ep. 1 this series has a vibe of being artificial, plastic and fake in almost every aspect - the visuals, the setting, the dialogue... Joong switched from being constantly surprised to be in this show to being himself, at least mostly, while Dunk switched from trying to portray a funny character to being every character he tried to portray in previous shows. Still, Joong did utter the only good line of this entire show so far: "I don't like that I miss you". The whole scene before and after that wasn't good (it felt, like many scenes in this show, like taken from someone's weird fantasy) and Joong was making a funny face while saying it, but that one line was delivered properly.
