Glorifying bad mothers
I'd rate 0, but I pity gave it a 1 star because the cinematography was really well done. And the acting was not bad. But knowing 'moms', and myself having to help raise a child that had a mom like this.. this entire movie, two hours, of showing these 'deep' awful story of this worse off mom. I feel no pity at all for her. Mental illness's yes, but that's no excuse for any of this. Even for a movie/story.Why does the social worker not call the police during the physical abuse? Why is NOBODY really helping? It's a bit drab for all the men finding the family to just suddenly go, 'Hey yeah I wanna do this not stable and terrible mother!' Seriously? Even the good natured construction guy? It felt so forced and not in character.
It almost felt traumatic for my husband and I to watch. It's not worth watching. There is no good in this film. It's 2021 and we're tired. I don't want to relive traumatic memories for the sake of a story or to give some sort of deep meaning. (Spoilers. It's a sh*tty mom who never gets into any trouble or any repercussions from her actions for the entire duration.)
I was hoping this movie would have gone differently, maybe even at least informative about abuse situations. But it's not. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

What's inside is important
Was hopeful going in with a plus size actor, not bad cast, everyone acted decently. Short story.I do wish plus size folks were not usually shown as unhappy and hateful as they did. And that's just my personal opinion. (Based on the amount of media we have portraying it this way.) The ending was VERY short, and was not what I expected and felt almost incomplete. While there was some issues it was not bad to watch through. I was happy for character growth, especially Umine's mom! Produced well and flowed smoothly until the last episode. I will check out what these actors have also done since this show

Melancholy love.
Ive never seen any of the director's other films, I saw a small snippet somewhere online and really wanted to watch it. I love that it's BL but not focused on it as the center story, it's mostly somber and sad, with a nice ending. The way it was filmed makes you feel very present. I didn't like however, the weird very fast sped up film; and then suddenly it's super slow/choppy frames (It's on purpose) that gives the impression your computer or internet are loading really slow. Not for me personally. The actors were all great. I really felt for the Main guy. I sit here now left with.. this weird.. almost heartbroken feeling myself. You always deserve better in this situation. You can heal. I feel this film can leave a lasting impression on you.

Decent reality TV with misogony issues
Loved to see all the different body types on the show, from slim track stars to SUPER beefy heavyweights! Female presenting were also on, and I was so excited until from the very first episode it is just constantly, deeply ingrained misogynistic attitudes. Matches with 1v1 were decent to see. I heard working through this show was dangerous and a few people got hurt, I noticed especially during a later episode it felt they were pushing themselves too hard. I got very worried for them!Im taking away points for not having precautions and better safety with over-working their bodies to the point of possible damage and the way the women were treated.

Cute mediocre short drama! Kudos to filming during a pandemic
The last two episodes are... a whiplash of emotions that I didn't find greatly enjoyable. It's a cute, lighthearted K-drama showcasing a lot of mental illnesses, and domestic abuse. One of my favourite characters is Samantha, I was very worried with the first scenes (especially the older women's comments) but turned out alright. The way it was filmed was cool, to make it seem 'intimate' even though for COVID restrictions they were standing and being quite far apart the whole duration of this drama. Which is not a bad thing! Seeing how to film through a pandemic is why I would recommend this. Even if I didn't personally agree with the ending, or how certain things were handled it has it's moments.

Not scary and made me cry :<
Nice zombies, but the plot was lacking and the ML and a few others were REALLY irritating top watch the ENTIRE length of the movie. Expected more zombies, and as others have pointed out tehy could go from not being able to open doors to holding onto the train and creating a rope pile to climb.Of course a good lead we were enjoying dies off (the pregnant womans husband) and the movie especially near the end keeps getting more sad so I was just crying. The ML cant even say decent things to his daughter at the end.
This was not horror, and barely scary I am suprised its hyped as one of the greatest zombie movies. Its not terrible, i wouldnt call it bad. It was a rough start to our horror movie nights we're hosting though in our discord, so watch with tissues in hand.

Squid Game yes, this? NOO.
We added this on a whim based on trailer and we got into episode 5, didn't finish the ep and closed it out and removed it. I could not handle seeing abuse especially to a disabled person with NO consequences. My partner was also not happy about it, I'm going to talk about things (spoilers) but I think its important to know if you dont want to see certain stuff. We didn't read the manwha, or whatever this is based from. Maybe its supposed to run off the Squid Game hype as a 'crude' game show type. (We like squid game, and we watched The Platform and also enjoyed that)
The first couple eps are promising, the way it's filmed with the smaller ratio screens when they're picking numbers. To how they handle camera movement and emotion is well done, but it can only carry this so far. The top 2 floors are the most rude and annoying sh-tty people to watch, and they basically turn the game into capitalism by ep 5. Where they just hurt and beat the other contestants to near death multiple times by this point and nothing is justified. Its stressful, its not about being fair but I am not down to watch abuse for abuse-sake with no relevant story plot or for actual compelling story points. Does the writer hate disabled people and women? The only strong outward woman for some reason grows meek and changes her personality by ep 4.
The contestants are shady backgrounds, so its not about the show being fair to win time for more money. I can see the vision but the story ain't there, the plot is not well done. It's a netflix show so maybe that's why, I did enjoy a couple of the actors so I think i'll check out other works they're in instead. Women deserve better, I don't think I'd recommend this to anyone unfortunately. Maybe it turns around right before it ends and justice is served but we're not going to hate-watch to get to that point or sit through what feels like not well-written characters to see it.

Wonderful cinematography but predictable
There will be minor spoilers, but I wouldn't watch this film again tldr;I loved the way it was filmed, I like the director and his other movies, the acting was great and I enjoyed chemistry and it's not.. a bad film. But the story and this man cheating on his wife the entire time left the most awful taste in my mouth and it took away from the movie for me personally. A predictable ending and the 'second act' felt tiresome.
If you want to watch this because of the director I think you'll enjoy the film in that way and less so for the story or plot. The filming locations, the slow way of pace and movement, The Mist song coming on over and over. Actors are enjoyable I think this would have scored higher had it been not for the whole cheating story point which a lot of movies and dramas have done before, and for me personally cheating is a HUGE irritation for me. Emotional counts, lack of communication, and maybe you're supposed to dislike the main lead and thats also the point. But it made it a grind to watch for us (myself and my partner) I really thought there was going to be more... suspense and crime and this movie is not that. Its not even a big mystery because its been done before so you catch on fairly quickly and then the second portion feels dragged on because its a repeat in a way of what happened the first time. The ending was... an ending. We looked at each other and sighed, not because of her choices but this man is tiresome haha. Had he simply not been married and been cheating I think the way this movie would have come across so differently and being able to really get into the chemistry of the main leads, but alas.
Overall when it wasn't the ML's unwise choices with FL it was an okay movie. If cheating bothers you like us then I would recommend skipping it. Felt like something from some eras ago, the cooking scene with them where she's smoking, them out in the rain visiting the temples, mesmerizing. I dont even wanna talk about the snow scene near the end, it did not draw us in in anyway apologies xD Beautiful filming spots along the water. I'll look forward to more from this director in the future

Character development happening for some support roles.. at the last few episodes, wasn't super fond of that. Story was so slow but got so rushed, that matched with the timing of certain character developments marks it down for us. A personal gripe of mine is hiring actual Autistic folk to play the roles (Which can be done, and has been done in other movies and series.) A decent K-drama overall. Cute, good chemistry with the cast, great whale facts, and even with dark themes it always returned to a light-hearted day-to-day.
I would also really like meat noodles now.

Exaggerated and comedic
It matched the genre at the time, but it hasn't held up particularly well over time. Fully knowing this will be ridiculous, it's still enjoyable to watch! Since this plot and romance would not be watchable if it took itself too seriously, it was refreshing that it was so dramatized (to me personally haha)It's short and sweet in the sense that the episodes pass quickly, and I was laughing a lot. The ending song was very catchy, but I don't think it's worth seeing again. I didn't anticipate seeing Bora either!

Pretty bad honestly
With the director and everything I thought this was going to be pretty good, but I full on got up and quit watching and went to shower. My partner finished the ending and told me about it, and Im glad I didn't sit through to finish it. Lots of harm and hate towards women. I get its the whole story, but after the first incident it is entirely on the ML's choices that the rest of the people get hurt because of his unwise and vengeful decisions. I dont need to watch a film being gorey / graphic towards women. The beginning is decent, good set up, good motives, and I can't say it wasn't well filmed because it certainly was. Acting is well done, whoever wrote this is the problem. Story is bad. ML becomes just as bad as the villains and is leading on the harm towards other people. I told myself after another women got harmed that if he let the pedo kliller go ONE more time for his sh*tty selfish anger and someone died I'd be done with it. And that's exactly what happened. Would not recommend. Its not "good revenge" if you let other people die, get traumatized and then ask that person to then help the dude who literally just SA'd you. Seriously?
Being a decent film doesnt negate this terrible plo
