It's all platonic here folks! Any and all romance can only really be seen in the very last episode, but still, the story requires none of the romance at all. It follows the journey of growth in youths, and shows the way in which friends learn how to become independent, but still open to the help of others, and I found it so fun to watch. All the characters became such genuine friends, and it was enjoyable to watch them all learn to value each other's strengths, weaknesses and differences. They're not achievers in the typical sort of sense, so the story doesn't capture the rise of underdogs, neither does it cover the good beating the bad, or a budding romance. Instead, it captures the hearts, passions, and difficulties faced by youths in the most genuine way possible, emphasising on the importance of platonic relationships in the growth of ones character, and really showing how people can be positively changed and influenced by who they choose to surround themselves with, and honestly I find it completely endearing.
