ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS I'VE SEEN TILL DATE IN MY LIFE
WOW where do I even start with this masterpiece of a show? It isn't even a show, it's an EXPERIENCE, it's goddamn cinematic poetry, it's an absolute DELIGHT in every way, and I'm going to try my best to describe exactly why. The acting, the story, the build-up, the chemistry, the MUSIC, the cinematography, everything was AMAZING.But the main reason was the SIZZLING and intense and VISCERAL chemistry of the two main leads.
Lee Dong Shik and Han Ju Won, two names I'm likely to never forget as I desperately search for fanfiction and You Tube edits of this pair, because the reality is, I can't let this duo go just yet.
They were always colluding behind everyone's back while pretending that they hate each other, making FERVENT declarations to each other when they're alone, that NEVER ENDING eye contact, HJW willingly touching LDS whenever he gets the chance and even seeking out to be close to LDS physically and emotionally, being truthful only in front of each other, seeing each other at their weakest points, a ready-to-die-for-you attitude, two sides of the same coin, promising each other to be safe, ready to sacrifice their life to right a wrong in the other person's life, a strong sense of trust, pride, belonging and understanding...and where do I even BEGIN with that last 10 minutes T-T
SO MANY TIMES throughout the show, I replayed their 'moments' and observed each and every single expression, every single detail of their interactions, simply because I wanted to keep them in my memory because of how much satisfaction it gave me.
SATISFYING is the best way to put it, because after every revelation, after every reveal, every breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL and haunting soundtrack behind each new discovery, I was completely taken with this couple and their flow of the story, and even though it's supposed to be a slow burn classic thriller, it kept me on the edge of my seat, but I still saw and absorbed each and every single character's tale. The two leads have such an intense push-pull development and their characters compliment each other TOO well.
Despite of the lead couple's stellar chemistry and connection, it is truly remarkable how the other characters also manage to carve out their space in the audience's mind, each character displayed a uniqueness which makes them all memorable in my eyes, and the emotional and psychological trauma was portrayed BRILLIANTLY by each and every single one of them. The baddies were all a delight to watch as well, although the initial 'killer' gave me creeps like never before.
TLDR; WATCH THIS SHOW ASAP AND THEN THANK ME.

Honestly can't get over how cute this show was.
Very memorable, loved the cast and acting and ost and the characters! It was funny and cute and sweet and real. LOVED!PLEASE watch this show. It's great acting by all the actors, interesting story, and the lead couple is SO fucking cute together, its insane. All their moments, from holding hands, to the first kiss, to the piggy-back rides, ALL OF IT IS SO CUTE.
It's a simple story of how a passionate and ambitious girl Dal Mi, and a nerdy and sweet boy Do San meet initially as a lie, but then fall for each other-HARD.
And even when the lie is revealed, the girl still chooses the boy right for her.

Sherlock: Untold Stories

I LOVED this adaptation SO MUCH.
The show really has a flavour of its own, and is able to sustain the gentle mystery theme throughout, and I loved all the intros, and specially the restaurant murder in episode 9, the cast looked so damn good in formal wear. Also loved the cast and the engaging plot and also the 'Wakamiya-chan' cuteness from Shishio. Recommend to see a different type of Sherlock which is just as entertaining.
The ambience of this show was too immersive, and was honest to the source material as much as possible, the murders really felt like I was watching a true rendition of how Sherlock would've been had it been created in a modern day Japan setting, with the murders and characters all playing a great role.

I wish I could give this show a rating of 100/10.
Loved the story, the cast, their acting, the ost, the chemistry of all four leads with each other, the relationships they formed, the development in their lives over the course of the show, EVERYTHING.LOVED Lee Jun-Ho's chemistry with every single person in the show, LOVED THE FATHER SON BONDING MOMENTS BETWEEN HIM AND HIS ACTUAL FATHER, AND ALSO BETWEEN HIM AND DETECTIVE CHUN-HO, in most of those scenes I was sitting with a big smile on my face!!!
LOVED watching Madame Jin, her role was perfection, and the actress was tailored for it and I loved watching a woman in a role like that.

A MUST WATCH DESPITE THE ENDING
Given all the moments that made me irritated, which also shows how much I truly LOVE this show to be so involved in their characters and their lives, shows what a STELLAR show this was. I do think the ending could've been better though.PROS:
1. I still keep thinking about the intimacy of the scene when they had a match together in episode 4. When he first saw her in her gear, his appreciative gaze and respectful attitude was so sexy, and when he got curious enough she made him wear some man's gear, which of course looked like it was made for him. But when she helped him put it on, that quietness felt SO natural and sexy and organic. And the way he was looking at her then...GOSH.
Their match was as expected, and then when she looked at him afterwards, that realisation was amazing.
2. Another scene I cannot forget, after the intimate and sexy match in episode 4, is the beautiful snowflake scene in episode 5.
Each second the scene got better and better, first they transitioned so beautifully, and that MUSIC WOW, and THEN looked at each other, THEN they both reacted to that man calling her out, AND THEN he pulled her to him AND THEN THEY LISTENED TO EACH OTHERS MESSAGES.
I love this supportive and soulful relationship.
3. I also can't help but swoon over when they walked under the rain with an umbrella and reached her hotel, I couldn't help but swoon over how NJH conveyed his feelings with his eyes, the way his eyes shone when she was doing what she was doing. He stood perfectly still even as she turned around, because he knew she would climb back down the stairs! He knew she wanted to spend more time with him, and he was allowing it, he allowed her to lead their relationship pretty much, because he probably realised then he couldn't help but return her feelings as they were too strong. His conversation with her 'ex-boyfriend' was telling, he wanted what was best for her, and finally he believed that he could be the best for her!
4. Then their kiss, the anticipation, the tension, that moment was amazing, and the way she clarified her feelings right afterwards, because she knows him and probably spent ages thinking of possible reasons why he wouldn't return her feelings, and came to the (right) conclusion that he was simply doing it to protect her.
5. And then when he sent the patrolman on the road just because he knew she was going to go home alone at night, my heart melted.
6. Also how he keeps protecting her in a non-oppressive way, simply to protect her from the harm that she may not be able to see, not because she's incapable but because she may be blindsided, was so sexy of him, even when they were breaking up.
CONS:
1. That ending was sloppy and rushed and inconsistent with each character of the show, it really feels like they changed the writer after episode 13, to the point that the actions of each of the characters didn't necessarily make much sense.
Until then the theme of the show was that everyone choses a different path in life and sometimes life chooses a path for you and that's okay.
2. But there are many odd things I noticed about their behaviour after the random accident in ep 13, how NHD was insistent on getting into a relationship initially yet somehow regretted it as she noticed the similarities in him to her mother (that's because of his job which you already knew which everyone told you to be careful of!), and then when she was shown to be tenacious and optimistic, but somehow turned their relationship into wanting someone to be there for her, even though she herself keeps travelling and doesn't really stay in a place for too long?
He was in a very dark place mentally and she wasn't really there for him as even a silent support, he was covering a tragedy and she wasn't patient enough to see through it and maybe give him one chance to get therapy and work on himself (and that airport scene when she just left his bag carelessly? No.) before breaking up with him.
3. The reason for their breakup makes sense, but it was a surprise to me that she saw it happening very early on, that means she was expecting to be separated from him anyway, and that the tragedy and his lack of attention simply fast forwarded things. Also from his behaviour maybe he had already given up on her but then he was wanting for her to get back together with him? Idk that just confused me.
4. That breakup scene was emotionally charged and very well acted, but the actions afterwards, with somehow fate bringing her diary back to her, and then him actually remembering her as his first love, also the whole interview with the lack of personal questions which he insisted on, and her left side being better which she insisted on, just SCREAMED to be explored and expanded and explained and continued. It made no sense otherwise tbh.

What an absolute MASTERPIECE of a slow-burn, thriller show.
Watching Ji Sung is ALWAYS a delight, the way he portrayed confidence, heartbreak, confusion, despair, desperation, misery, PAIN, and anguish was just TOO GOOD. I teared up at several points through the show and I just couldn't hold myself back from desperately wishing for him to achieve some sort of happiness through his seemingly never-ending pain. That man is a true POWERHOUSE of acting, just brilliant to watch.
His chemistry and bromance with Shin Chul Shik and all his OPTIMUS PRIME glory lmao. He was amazing and hilarious to watch.
The support our prosecutor received from his cell-mates was touching and heartwarming, and it was so easy to become involved in their personal lives too and cheer for their happiness also. The side characters were all endearing and sweet and it was a delight to see them interact with each other. I loved how, instead of telling people that the cell-mates were a family, they SHOWED that they were a family through their actions and their encouragement and their interactions.
Every single scene of our dear prosecutor and his family in flashbacks was so damn sweet and so damn sad T-T.
I HATED the villain in this one, he was absolutely revolting and it was sickening how he acted, kudos to the actor I guess. BUT even more than that I HATED HATED HATED the 'friend' prosecutor. He should've burned in hell tbh, he was TERRIBLE.
The female attorney was too damn sweet to Ji Sung, at one point she even Googled 'How to aid in breaking someone out of prison' and that was A D O R A B L E. I loved how the brother-in-law was as a character, he was righteous but he changed his views and opinions and actions as the story progressed.
I liked the pace of the story, but overall it could've maybe been better in a 14/16 episode format, but that's taking it from a 100% to a 1000% tbh, it was thrilling throughout! LOVED IT.
I would highly recommend it.

This series is a MASTERPIECE and Yeo Jin Goo is a MASTER
Every single episode had me wanting MORE, the story induced a perfect blend of mystery, dread, hope, anticipation in every moment. From the very first scene, I was intrigued and fully immersed into both the universes, and tried my best to make sense of it and to solve the mystery surrounding both the brothers. They seamless way they showed the past and the future in each episode, the way that each new discovery was the most amazing cliffhanger to end each part of the story, the way both the worlds seemed to slowly become connected into the viewers mind, just pure GENIUS.
Yeo Jin Goo, how he can melt my heart with just one LOOK every SINGLE time? It will always be a mystery to me. He is just one of the best and most versatile and talented actors of the industry, and it showed in every frustrated exclamation, every desperate call to make his hyung see sense, in every hidden attempt to climb the ladder and work and study despite his surroundings just so he could care for his grandmother and search for his brother all on his own. Every single scene was executed BEAUTIFULLY.
How Byum Gyun as an adult Kim Joon Hyuk relied completely on only derived and eternal memories to look for his younger brother, how he cleverly manipulated the 'Smart Earth' morons to reveal their illegal activities step-by-step, how the whole police station, and Byul, and also Park Min Young worked with him to bring justice to these two twin brothers while coming to terms with their reality, it was amazing to watch.
I loved the bond between Woo Jin and Byul, I LOVED how PERFECTLY and SEAMLESSLY the two world connected with each other, I LOVED how they explained each and every single plot point.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED the bond between the twins, whether they were younger, or even when they were older. I also LOVED how the entire staff probably loved Yeo Jin Goo so much that they managed to create a story where Yeo Jin Goo would keep playing the part even after 20years into the story.
Overall, a VERY astonishingly great watch and discovery, great screenwriting/scriptwriting and just thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

WHAT A SHOW. I loved the satisfying ending.
Ju Ji Hoon, what a sweetheart, he was so amazing at portraying the sexiest ace attorney EVER at a prestigious law firm. His charming aura, his manly fashion, his calm and collected dialogue delivery, his steadfast acting, it all was so GORGEOUS to watch. He really truly was in love with the female lead, without ever stifling her, or trying to change her, he truly only wanted two things from her, an apology, and then a relationship, which I hated to watch (bc FL was kind of a bitch) but it was ALWAYS heart-fluttering instead of cringy. JJH has this way of making literally ANYTHING look good.I was so hurt on his behalf after episode 1, because I really wanted to punish the despicable girl who broke his heart, THAT'S how good he was at showing how taken he was with the girl.
The FL used people and left them for dead, like a hyena, and that's the show! And she stays exactly the same all the way to the very end. In that sense, she was brilliant. She never swayed an inch no matter who cursed at her for her background, for her lack of education, for he lack of class, she just marched on. She really said 'Fuck me if you can' and walked away with victories in her arms. I loved that, truly I did.
BUT her actions never had ANY consequences, which I HATED, and also how every male was completely enamoured with her for no reason at all, which was just annoying to watch.
The background characters in the show had just the right amount of screen-time, they were so good, and were there exactly when they were needed, no more no less.
The story was paced well, and the villain got a good end, exactly what he deserved. All the featured cases in the show were interesting to watch and decipher, and the arc with JJH's father was really intriguing to watch.
Easy 10/10. Highly Recommended!

I absolutely and thoroughly ENJOYED every minute of it!!
Where do I even START with this great show! HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDKYH's character peaked and fell as he won and lost at several points in the story, but at every step he made me eager to look forward to what was going to happen, and yet he never over-powered the story by pushing everyone else aside forcefully.
It was more like he never had to, because his mere PRESENCE was enough to make him stand out, no matter what.
His Live Court show was thrilling and exciting, just like the man himself. He did everything he could to make his beloved niece comfortable, and it was SO heartwarming to watch how he cared for his housekeeper and also ultimately Ga On, and how it became a family of four.
Ji Sung's presence was just SO impressive, he is made to be an actor, he was VERY well suited to play roles like this, and it is an absolute JOY to watch him on screen.
Ga On was also a character I absolutely loved, even though he was very fickle and at times not really worthy of being a judge acc to me, he was still easy for me to understand. He was too soft for this dystopian world and truly wanted to do things the right way, even if it meant joining hands with KYH who never really cared for the actual law. Also their chemistry was EXPLOSIVE.
I loved Sun Ah's character too, she was sexy, smart, feisty, ambitious, clever, and ultimately really did love KYH! She was a more than worthy opponent for our dashing male lead. I liked the potential that Soo HYun's character had, but she was good only in episode 1 and 2, afterwards she was a pure mess and irritated me lol.
The villain brigade, they were all awesome, every bit as despicable as people can be when given unlimited power and money to feed their greed.
A big THANK YOU to the creators, the actors, the music directors, and cinematographers for giving me such a memorable show to watch.

WOW
Just an absolute masterpiece of a show. Loved the cast, the acting, the relationships among all the characters, the chemistry of the two main leads, the brilliant OST, and one of the best female leads EVER!The chemistry between the leads was off the charts, and also Oh Jung Se was just perfect as the elder brother, who slowly understands the meaning of being an older brother, and the fact that he can be one too, regardless of his autism which he initially thought of as a hindrance in this role. He learns to stand on his own feet and the leads sail off in their own lives to discover new things together.
This show was heartfelt, and the story perfectly depicted the three main characters and a period in their lives when they discovered painful memories and combed through them together, creating a new family in the process.
Just a really lovely show. I have seen it twice already.

Frightening Cohabitation

C U T E and heartfelt, with a logical fantasy romance!
This show was cute, the female lead was ADORABLE and she reminded me so much of Kim Hye Yoon (the lead from Extraordinary You) because of her adorable bubbly nature and infectious spirit. She was sweet, hilariously innocent and very S M O L especially in front of 'sir' Jang Ki Young. She was cute enough to make anyone want to just eat her up, and I guess that's exactly what JKY did too LOL
Overall a really heartfelt and innocent yet mature and logical romance all around. Many of the misunderstandings that came up in the show were cliched but all of them were cleared up soon after they were introduced in a very logical, straightforward matter, and our female lead specially never left any loose ends in expressing her feelings.
She kinda reminded me of Cameron Diaz's character from the American movie 'My Best Friend's Wedding', earnest, brave, and genuine.
Also the actress who played this character was frankly too damn SWEET for me to not fall for her! She has an adorable smile, and an adorable voice, and an adorable personality, it just draws you in, and makes you want to eat her up for real (I know I'm repeating myself but it's too damn true).
Special mention to Sun Woo, he played a really convincing role of someone who falls into bad habits because of their privilege and society, but realises it and grows out of it to become a better person.
He clearly explained that his 'playboy' status was practically handed down to him (born rich, good looking, and smart, and SO many girls will play down their own self-respect to be seen with him no matter how he behaves with them etc. etc.), and he wasn't necessarily a jerk, just arrogant and ignorant, both of which he overcame. Not excusing his behaviour, but he became better in a very realistic manner, which I liked.
An easy 9/10. for me.

WHAT A GREAT SHOW! Loved the ending too, it was perfect!
Our Queen Shin Hae Sun was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND INCREDIBLE. Her mannerisms, her acting, her reactions, her voice, her humour, her aura, everything was perfect! She made the role iconic in every way possible. Her iconic dancing scene alone was worth watching the whole drama, to be very honest. Our King, Kim Jung Hyun, I've already seen him in two shows (CLOY, and School 2017) and he was brilliant as always. He was the perfect balance of dumb yet mysterious. I didn't like the arc where he was kinda involved with two women at once, and tbh I got the romantic angle but it did make me very uncomfortable that our straight male lead had to be physically and romantically involved with the King butttt but the actual leads looked so cute together! (I wish I could've enjoyed it as a gay/bromance type thing but I just couldn't).
Also I LOVED Kim Byung In AND Hong Byul Gam SO MUCH.
Kim Byung In was SO SEXY in his relentless love for the Queen, and he was steadfast and determined and didn't change his feelings till the very end! Hong Byul Gam was SO DAMN HOT whenever he had any action scenes, and he had a confidence in the show which was damn SEXY. Also he really reminds me of Oh Jung Se.
Also the Court Lady Choi, she was hilarious. Her arc with the Royal Chef was funny as hell.
The villain arc in the show could have been better, but I LOVED watching Kim Jwa Geun as the 'real power behind the Kim clan'. The other villains were forgettable lol.
However the story would've been great in a 16 episode format. The episodes were perfect till about 14, afterwards it dragged till 20.
Overall the show was fresh, thoughtful, all the characters had GREAT comedic timing, and the show was overall a delight to watch.

This is literally one of the best shows that anyone can ever grace their lives with.
THIS SHOW CHANGED MY PERSPECTIVE ON LIFE. It made me believe in myself, it made me believe that no matter what stage of life I'm going through, I will never have everything figured out, and that's okay. In fact, that's LIFE because life is complicated, messy, unpredictable, harsh, rewarding, and beautiful.Starting with my favourite character, Bae Ta Mi. She was the one that I have resonated with THE MOST in all my Kdrama history of female leads. She was devoted to her job, devoted to her sunbae (and the second main lead of the show), and had her life mostly figured out.
All until the day when she finds herself unemployed. Her life changes drastically there on, and through a new job and a new relationship, she has to constantly reinvent herself, and watching her clumsily and messily and gracefully handle life taught me that being strong is not about having all the answers, it's about working hard to be true to yourself and follow your heart and staying true to your goals and dreams and being honest and being stubborn.
She doesn't want to get married and have kids, but her partner does, and despite their strong feelings for each other, they struggle to find a balance between living in the moment, or being worried about the future. Her boyfriend was so spot on with the way he always challenged and also accommodated her, loved her, and wanted to be with her without any reservations. He was so damn sweet, honest and simply perfect for this role which is Jang Ki Young's best role without a doubt.
This relationship of him with her and her thought process was something I could STRONGLY relate too, because I feel the same as she does and I can picture myself to be in her shoes, where I find myself constantly having to explain why I don't want to get married, but someone who does never has to explain anything. She survives her life smartly, and despite being extremely emotional, she is brave and adamant in achieving her goals and she learns through her mistakes. She acknowledges that even though she thought she'd have her life figured out by 38, the fact that she doesn't surprises her, but she takes it in stride and marches on.
I could go on and on but I simply loved her and her sense of fashion was my FAVOURITE.
Secondly, the sunbae of the trio, who was ruthless and manipulative, but somehow found her way through til the end through a horribly abusive mother in law. Thirdly, the maknae of the group, who was bright and fierce in her anger and her love, and was super DUPER cute with Lee Jae Wook.
I also LOVED BRIAN HE IS LITERALLY THE BEST BOSS IN THE WHOLE DAMN WORLD.
I also loved all the other characters in the show, there was hardly anyone I disliked tbh.
TLDR: Loved it, EASY 100/10.

THE RIGHT WAY TO WATCH BDSM AND FALL IN LOVE WITH IT
This was an INCREDIBLE watch! Sweet, and it depicted a WELL RESEARCHED intro into BDSM.The 'Sub' acted so damn well, never strayed into exaggeration, never felt like it was forced or insincere at any single point, and the 'Dom' was an absolute delight to watch as well. The story was sweet, simple, yet engaging, the kinks were displayed in an extremely erotic yet tasteful manner, and I just thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.
LOVED IT.
Also, 50 shades who? THIS is what people should see to get a better understanding of BDSM.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THE RATING. IT DESERVES A 100/10.
The movie keeps you guessing about the feelings of the actors and the characters separately, starts off in a typical 'old guy accidentally seduces new guy' stereotype, BUT changes into something amazing when you realise what's actually happening. you end up blown away and won't forget the ending, even though it's not a mystery genre. The idol was moved by the veteran actor's acting when he first met him, and eventually learned the method way of acting and practised each and every single thing he absorbed from the veteran actor, on him in real life too!
After the idol stormed off at the press conference when he expected some kind of open confession from the veteran guy, and was met with 'this was just method acting', he decided to give the veteran actor a taste of his own medicine, and thoroughly schooled him on what 'method acting' is.
In the end the idol, although somewhat moved by the actor and maybe he had some feelings for him too, managed to move on easily because he understood the game. The veteran was used to method acting but he didn't realise that the idol would practise it on him, and the amazing kissing scene was proof that he was maybe in too deep for once. Eventually his wife would still comfort him, so that's that. He probably was confused about himself for a long time after that.
And that kissing scene *phew*
