The actors captured every aspect of the story and kept me on the edge every second through the movie. Props to the actors for portraying these emotions and making others feel them too. Also, I would like to point out how good and picturesque the scenery was at times and those were the sweet and warm parts.

Mixed feelings about this one, but overall a well made short series
This one was short and sweet. The storyline had a huge potential, with the actors having a seemingly great chemistry, but was unfortunately not harvested. It seemed to stretch a bit too long and there were unnecessary scenes which added little to nothing to the storyline. This led to there being less time left for an ending, making it seem forced and unnatural. Instead, adding more scenes for storyline development or even just the acceleration of this very plot would've proved to be excellent. It had some beautiful meanings and concepts or stereotypes handled. Such as the "sex-taboo" in Japan or other Asian countries. Or the lack of awareness about the LGBTQ+ community itself like Nagisa pointed out. "After reaching puberty, a kid starts to feel attraction towards the opposite sex." Etc.
The chemistry was so amazing at certain points that it left you with a feeling of wanting more. Which was left unfulfilled, but still a sweet aftertaste. Maybe adding a bit more of character background even to Shun's role would serve the purpose! Almost felt like Shun was nonchalant throughout except for the part where they searched for the keys together.
The funniest part though, for me, was the mom's technique for getting over breakups. HILARIOUS X"D

It's emotionally taxing, but one of the best takes on BL in the industry.
I'll be very honest here. This one is emotionally taxing to watch. You might feel annoyed and frustrated with the characters and the storyline and how it seems so out of place with how cruel it can be toward any character, it might even be called 'toxic' in the first few episodes- a toxic friendship , but once you go on and watch the rest, one thing is for sure. [[[It might contain slight (nothing major from the storyline) spoilers. ]]]That is, the more you want a particular character to get hurt, the more you feel bad inside and just want it to be over. One of the reasons why it's so emotionally exhausting. Also, what I truly believe is that Love is not about "redemption" or "vengeance". It's about feelings. And no matter how much you use your brain to weigh the situations, you canNOT ignore your feelings. No matter how much you're hurt, no matter how much you see the characters getting hurt, you won't feel any better until they finally have a good time together. So what I would say is to watch this while keeping all of this in mind. And at the same time, know that this story is about something so abstract that even the wisest of people won't be able to interpret it correctly. It's pure Love. Blooming from friendship - a toxic friendship.
