drama notes: To Fly With You was an unexpected delight where I found myself anticipating each episode. I typically enjoy sports romances but there was something special about this one that made me thoroughly entertained. Our female lead is hardworking, relentless and she grows from the barriers she faces inside and out of her team. Our male lead is also finding himself navigating a new space and the drama became more intriguing as I watched both characters become the best versions of themselves in unfamiliar waters. This drama brought excellent chemistry, growth in characters, interesting rivalries and fiery competitions. I never thought I’d be at the edge of my seat for speed and figure skating but there I was.
