Revenge story line and Strong FL throughout the drama
I absolutely loved this drama it is up there with The Sword and brocade for me… it has been a long time since I have enjoyed a Chinese period drama as they are also all entering their politically correct era which degrades the story and makes it quite unbearable, because they do not want to offend certain groups and communities.But this drama is just amazing… Loved the ML And FL their romance was subtle but also cute and the story line never deviated and stuck to it’s original plot and the FL did not end up as an airhead because she fell in love which is great.
The whole show kept me interested and intrigued to find out what would happen next.
Hope to see more shows like this, it’s been a while

Somethings were just UNNECESSARY…Time wasted
I don’t usually leave a comment but I had to. What really annoyed me was the unnecessary amnesia that the FL got 2 episodes to the drama!!! I know Asian dramas like their amnesia plot but this was too much and really not needed.How did the FL just loose trust in the ML so quickly, which led to the death of her friend at the end. The ending gave me such a headache it’s not a happy ending and some people in the comments are saying that it’s realistic PLEASE we don’t watch dramas for realistic endings we want a happy ending.

Some characters over stayed their purpose and the story was getting tired
I did not really enjoy this drama. Half or more than half of this drama was spent on the Imperial brother butting his nose into female lead’s business and romance , trying to constantly take the princess away, it was very annoying and there was not much romance in this drama they had not enough chemistry because she kept on trying to run it was just dragging on and on smh... and the bombshell about the general’s brother also was just the writers trying too hard, the breaking up and getting together was irritating it happened too many times in a35 episode drama I didn’t really like it, this is the first time I haven’t really enjoyed a wuxia dramaVond je deze recentie nuttig?
