It’s the politics and the family backstabbing that made me connect the two. In NIF the ML is the center of the drama but in TRP it’s the FL. But in both cases they’re navigating this utter mess of family politics and the throne and it’s very gripping stuff. TRP has more romance in it but it’s still heavy on the politics of the empire.
Shout out to secret passages in both, too ?

Both are workplace romances where the ML fell for the FL in their school days and secretly pined for her until they met again like 10 years later. Both FLs also are just getting out of long-term relationships and are starting new jobs where ML is the boss or an investor. Both MLs lost one or both parents when they were kids. There are jealous 2FLs that never stand a chance.
Both have FLs who are starting their own businesses and the shows follow their struggles along with a growing romance. FLs in both are hard working and inspired.
Chun Woo Hee plays the FL in both, and although the stories aren’t that similar, the FL in both starts out as a con artist. ML in both also really wants to save/help FL.
Characters have special powers in both shows. They use their powers for their own gain at first but eventually learn how to use them to help others. They lose their powers at some point. Some characters aren’t what they seem.
In both shows, the ML and FL are pretty down on their luck and together they’re able to get through it. Both have funny parts and heartwarming parts. Both touch on some pretty serious issues. Both have chaotic bits that will leave you laughing.
Both are violent, action-packed shows that do not hold back from bloody fight scenes and death. There is a theme of revenge in both but in A Shop for Killers it’s a bit more complicated. Both MLs kill people.
ML in both works for a company that cleans houses for the deceased. In Move to Heaven ML is autistic; in Hoshi Furu Yoru ni the ML is deaf.
Hoshi Furu Yoru ni has more romance and drama.

Both are adapted from webtoons. ML in Vigilante doesn’t have powers but he’s maintaining a secret identity. I’m not entirely sure why but they just feel similar—maybe it’s the violent fight scenes.
FL has a special ability in both series that has a big influence on the plot. There are mystery elements in both series and ML and FL live next door to each other. ML kind of pushes FL away at the beginning of the series.
Their posters are weirdly similar too lol

FL has a special talent/power in both series and FL and ML team up to try to solve a big mystery. Both involve shamanism.
In both series, ML is a supernatural being that is kind of struggling with his existence. Both end up falling in love with FL, who is different from everyone else (in MMIC FL is basically cursed in love because of her past life; in DAYS FL has terminal cancer). And in both series ML disappears for a while but returns as a human.
