I can't express how much I loved the Untamed. It has everything - humour, angst, a great storyline, sadness, joy - everything you'd ever look for in a show. This is a story about two people - Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian and the difficulties they manage to overcome. This is a drama based on a BL novel so I will be writing this review and seeing Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian as more than sWOrN BroThErs. Their love story is better than 90% of any other love story you'll ever watch, and they don't even show it explicitly (due to China's ban on any display of homosexuality). However, despite that fact, the love they have for each other is difficult to miss. Besides the main characters, the side characters are as developed as the main characters which you don't see often nowadays. A lot of the side cast has their own story arcs, development and screen time. I won't keep this review long, so if you love epic storylines, an amazing love story that's unlike the rest and amazing supporting characters - then The Untamed is just for you!
