This was absolutely such a cute, cute movie. The story and the plot was amazing. I would definitely would recommend this to anyone who likes this type of drama.

This movie had me sobbing from beginning to end. It was such a beautiful, heartbreaking drama. If you like dramas that make you cry a river, then Okaasan, Ore wa Daijoubu is the drama for you.

I watched this over almost a year ago and loved it. The acting was amazing and I'm hoping there will be a sequel but I doubt it. The actors played their roles very well and it pulled me in. I wanted to keep watching. It made my heart race at some parts. It made me laugh, it made me cry. It made me feel many emotions. It's a drama that contains real-life mental illnesses such as schizophrenia (like mentioned in the movie's plot description). Even though it has some sad parts, it also had happy parts. If you're someone who likes psychological drams like this then I'd say this is the drama for you.

Within the first five minutes of this movie it already took a deep twist and plummeted at full speed. I was shocked at what happened in literally the first scene of the movie. I wouldn't really watch this again.

Great job at showing individual people and their own individual struggles

This drama did well when it came to showing how people have different struggles and traumas. It shows how each character acts/responds to situations because of their trauma. When it comes to the two main characters, the drama does well when it comes to these characters helping each other overcome their trauma and the fears that came along with it. Additionally, this drama makes you feel sympathy towards the characters whenever they are facing a situation and are feeling overwhelmed with what is happening around them. This drama was an interesting take on trauma and mental illness.

I fell in love with this drama from the very start. I especially fell in love with Seto Koji's character. With mystery, crime, and a tad bit of psychological stuff, this drama was one that I really liked. If I could give this more than a ten I definitely would.

I gave the story a 9.5 mostly because the story made me cry. The only things I really knew about ALS is that it affects the person's movement and breathing. When I watched this, I got a whole new understanding on it. This drama really does educate you on ALS and I would watch it again.

Makes you feel the emotions of the character

What I loved about this drama is that it made you feel the emotions the characters felt. Whenever the main character is sad, you feel sad. Whenever a character is angry, you feel angry. I caught myself yelling at my computer during some scenes. This drama did such a great job at invoking emotions in the viewer to match the emotion(s) of the character/characters. Additionally, this will have you rooting for the main characters and have you on the edge of your seat (especially during the courtroom scenes). Overall, the acting in this was amazing and all the actors did such as a great job.

To be honest I was expecting more out of this drama. For example an actual visual on how the male lead ended up the way he did where as the plot just explains it. The actual first half of the movie was pretty interesting but the second half of the movie was really slow. I'm not saying that I didn't like the movie I'm saying that I didn't fall in love with it like I hoped.
