This was pretty bad!!!
Just finished watching this and I'm like WTH did I just watch? The acting was terrible and it didn't follow the book. Frank and Long did a much better job with the acting and the toxicity in love syndrome 3. I don't know what this was. Who directed this and chose these actors to play these roles? This was awful and I don't recommend this to anyone to watch!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Why was this considered 18+?
Why was this drama considered "mature?" There wasn't anything really 18+ in it. It was cute, but a bit boring with no real story. The kiss scenes were weak and no NC scenes at all that were worth watching to even be considered as mature. It was just a very, basic BL series. I'm at a crossroads on whether I'd watch it again. If I'm looking for something soft and a bit boring, then maybe, but I have to be honest here; I don't recommend this BL to anyone, especially if you like BL'S with more spice, because this isn't it. It's more fluff. I'm more of a spicy BL fan with series that contain more NC scenes, with a good story too. That's why I loved Venus in The Sky. Good story and spicy scenes! Boring and slow
This has to be one of the most boring BL'S I've ever seen! The start was slow, boring and felt kind of all over the place! At times, the storyline didn't make sense! And it kept getting worse as the story progressed. This BL suffered a lot of wasted material with the actors, script and directing of it. I believe this BL could've and should've been a whole lot better. I know this was made about 6 years ago, so I'm late in watching it, but thia BL would not be on my list of recommended BL'S to watch. Not worth a watch!
One of the worst BL'S I've ever seen! There was no real plot, the acting was subpar and it felt all over the place. Not really sure what this was. The kissing scenes were the only thing that looked realistic! The NC scenes were pretty bad; as if the actors were trying to force these scenes to look good, yet failing miserably. Where was the story behind this BL? I managed to get through the entire series somehow( dislike leaving things unfinished), yet I never should have started watching it in the first! One of the worst BL'S I've ever seen!
If you're looking for a BL series with a plot, story and acting, this ain't it! This is by far, the worst one I've ever scene! This whole series was just about a bunch of horny boys out there looking for their next hook-up, it was all over the place and it felt incomplete! Is there going to be a season 2 to explain the cliffhanger? People gave bad reviews and hate on Venus in the Sky, but this was given good reviews and likes? I wouldn't recommend this BL to anyone to watch! It was raunchy! The only thing good about this show was some of the guys were nice looking, but the NC scenes were very cringey and unrealistic. I love this BL! The only real complaint I have is I have to wait until Saturday to see it! The men are gorgeous, I love the acting, but I dislike the guy who plays Dr. Ter( which means he's doing a great acting job), I'm in love with Thor's eyes, Fluke is such a cutie and it has a great story to it. Love the doctor/boxer hook up and all the twists and turns! This is really good and I'd recommend this to any BL fans! The men in this, WHEW! Really good and disappointing at the same time.
Love Max/Tul and their chemistry is fire, but I had one problem with this show....wasn't enough NC scenes as the story overshadowed any possibility of adding more NC scenes between the main couple. And I know BL'S are not always going to have scenes like that, but as a BL fan, it's nice to see sometimes. I mean, they could of given fans a NC scene after they got married instead of only given us one in episode 7 (which really wasn't a NC scene)and then not give us one after that. More BL'S need to have NC scenes(with a plot and story) like Venus in the Sky or Kiseki Chapter 2, but that's just the fangirl in me talking and hoping more BL'S will began to do this!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
This show doesn't deserve so much hate!
I'm not sure why this got such bad reviews! I loved it, especially Tod and Cheque's acting ability. How many actors out there (especially in BL) can act out a NC scene and have viewers questioning whether it's real or acting? I liked the storyline behind it and the slow build up to understanding why it took so long for them to finally get together. Why this has so much hate, I'll never understand. I'm so glad I didn't listen to the reviews after reading some of them, otherwise I'd have missed out on a great series! It's a must watch and I highly recommend this show to anyone!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Was really looking forward to seeing this as I love anything with Tod and Cheque in it and then found out Cheque left in the middle of this being filmed so it wasn't finished. Sucks too, because the trailer looked promising! I hope it gets picked back up for filming, but they'll have to find someone who can match Tod's intensity in acting. Cheque seemed to be the only BL actor who could and now that he's gone......Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
