This is not my lackhorn but this one is definitely presenting with a different vibe to it. I like the spin on it where they are including the characters intelligence and quick thinking however the relationship itself was a little bit frustrating Due to the supposed age gap. It was sort of weird. I’m not sure if I’m missing something or not however I have noticed that many of these lackhorn series involved parents selling their kids to pay off debt. I’m not sure if this is the norm for this type of series or what but it’s getting old. Trade my kid for debt, they fall in love, debt cleared. I’ve seen this set up too many times. Witnessed this again by accident
