Worth a watch
I am a bit in too minds on this one. I did watch it all the way through but I thought the biggest problem was that it dragged on a LOT. You could have done the plot in half the time. There are also too many characters in this drama, some of them were just filling up the time. I would have liked to see more about the "young master" and learned more about his character instead of the many maids who seem to get a lot of air time. I also would have liked more time with the "villain" of the story, I wanted to understand him more so having a couple less characters less (I didnt need the siblings, both waste of time including the bible study group...) and spend more time on the important characters would have made the drama better (for me)Lots of things in that story did not make sense either but that was mainly because of the above issues. Not enough time to find out more about the main characters and explain their actions and how they got there.
But there is one thing that stands out to me and that are the relationships of the women in the drama. So nice to see powerful woman supporting each other. In general women supporting each other. I also really like how sensitive and beautiful the lesbian love story was shot. It broke my heart, those scenes made me cry, I rooted for them so much.
So yes, I watched it to the end and it had some beautiful moments and very good acting but its not a drama I will watch again.

I loved this drama...
I liked the style, the way the backstories unfolded, the different characters (especially Rini) and also the format with the 30 min episodes. I think that KD Dramas can be a bit long and sometimes include unessesary things (ususally in the last 1-2 episodes ) but here the pacing was perfect all the way through. I would even think another season would be great (and I dont usually like when series go on to more seasons like they often do in the American series) because I want to know more about Minhos character and how that develops, I wanna know more about Rini and also the writer (cannot remember his name now). So I would love another series (30 min episodes again) focusing on those characters.I was totally hooked and fully entertained and thats all I am asking for.

I watched it... but...
So this was a funny one. I was totally hooked at the beginning but then it got confusing and the end I just did not understand at all. I also felt that in the middle it was very slow (i fell asleep during Episode 5 or 6 and then the end... well... it kind of left me hanging. The acting was phenominal from all of them, soundtrack I cannot remember so I guess it was not good but also not bad otherwise I could remember it either positiv or negativ.
The shocker really were the sex szenes which were quite explicit (never seen so much nakedness in a Korean movie or series!) and it really made me laugh a bit because the drama EVE on VIKI had an 18 rating (there was hardly anything there!) and this one was rated 16 on Netflix (on Netflix Germany). I dont really mind it if its important for the story and I guess here it was to explain the relationship but it kind of made me question the whole rating thing again.
All in all - wouldnt watch it again and well, it had its moments but not many.

keep the tissues near
So this drama... its a funny one. I cannot say I enjoyed it . It did not make me feel good or lightened my mood, this was not light entertainment. It was hard to watch and some of the episodes total tearjerkers but nonetheless I had to keep watching . The theme is suicide and I think if you decide to watch it you need to go in prepared. This is not a fluffy romance drama, this is heavy and real and at times super sad. The trailers did not really give the right impression of what this drama is about dont be fooled. However I would recommend people to watch it. My main take after the 16 episodes - I am so glad I was born not too long ago and in a peaceful European country were women `s rights are well established and that has a good social care system! My god how hard it must be to live in Korea in the past and even now it seems to be a real struggle. Especially if you are a woman or old or poor.
The drama shows lots stories of (mainly) women in different times and every time the poor women are treated so badly it breaks your heart . And the most disturbing thing is that they were treated so badly by their own people and even worse - other women. Rape and torture in wars by enemy forces seem to always have been part of warfare but what happens after women went through all that was the most shocking to me. And these are not storys they made up that story about the `Comfort Woman` (I had to search that up straight away) is real and really.. not that long ago. I cried so much, its all so unfair and horrible.
But back to the rest of the drama, so the acting I thought was excellent and I did like Rowoons character, a guy with heart of gold, empathetic, passionate, guileless and forever optimistic. His character brought that lightness that was needed otherwise this would have been too dark and depressing for me. I think he did a great job and I can see why he would act this sort of character after that Period drama he did before (cant remember the name). So different the characters, kudos to him just for that! The female Grim Reaper was great, she is just beautiful and can express so much just with her eyes. I was not so keen on the other two male Grim Reapers/main characters. It was not the acting I think it was just that I didnt like their characters that much.
I did like how they used the 3 main characters to tell some of the backstories and mixed it up with `new cases`from the present. There were some great sentiments and some memorable lines. I did not like the phyiscal violence by the reapers though. I mean really, do they have to beat up people all the time to get results? Beating and slapping people also seem to be quite a normal thing in Korea (seen that in many dramas) and it always sits really wrong with me.
So thats it. I seldom spend so much time and effort on a review so yes, this drama did affect me a lot. I will not watch it again but it will stay with me for a while.

Compelling weekend binge
if you decide to watch this drama be prepared for a wild ride! Its very adult with a LOT of very graphic violence, sexual themes and some very horrible characters.BUT - there is a reason why I binged this over the weekend. The story is so compelling, I love that we have female characters of every generation and how the story reflects on different generation of women. The acting is absolutly incredible and the way the episodes are set up is great, every episode told another story within the story.
It is not for the squimish, a feel good KDrama this is NOT but if you like gritty dramas with interesting characters and developement in the story that are hard to forsee its for you.
I really like those shorter dramas now, this is something you can binge on a rainy weekend and the plot moves quickly.

loved this show!
So I only started watching Korean Music shows last year when I somehow got sucked into Kingdom Legendary War. Before I wasnt even aware and not in the Kdrama/Kpop scene. That is a good thing about all this Corona Lockdown last year, in my desperation I started watching things I would otherwise just not given the time and I never looked back!I absolutly loved Kindgdom (and also of course watched Road to Kingdom and Queendom now) and when LOUD started I was watching it right from the start, waiting impatiently each week for the next episode. I was blown away by the talent and the production of those stages. I will never forget the first stage for the PNation Team.. it was just so epic. I was fully rooting for PNation btw, I am in loooove with Psy, the way he coached and rooted for the boys. His face when they performed was so priceless! All his reactions felt so real and honest.
And of course loved watching the boys blossom and turning into stunning performers. Its amazing to see some of them shy and awkward and the minute they hit the stage they turn into different people. And even though I shed a tear now and then when boys got eliminated it was mainly fun to watch. I cannot wait for the PNAtion team to debut and see what they come up with. I do hope Eun-Hwi will be producing the music and maybe, just maybe Daniel might do a guest appearance one day. I wish both teams all the luck and hope they are successfull.

Wholesome drama
While I was watching this show I thought: My mum woud love it! It is just so wholesome and positiv and its bascially stories about normal life. Stories about friends and family, divorce, falling in love, jobs, expectations of society, missunderstandings, raising a family, parenting, getting old, dealing with some kind of trauma etc. It is entertaining and kept me engaged until Episode 14... OK maybe also 15 as I did want to know what happened to Chief Hong... But like many Korean Dramas it just streched out a bit too long and the end there was just too much happy endings so I stopped 10 minutes into Episode 16. By then the story was told and nothing in Episode 16 added to it (apart from making me cringe a bit). But yes if you are looking for some wholesome story with nice acting and beautiful scenery its the one for you.
My mum would love this and its a shame they didnt synch it in German.

confusing and too many characters - still a compelling watch
I was eagerly awaiting Sweet Home Season 2 and binge watched it over a weekend. We have all of our characters back from Season 1 and also a number of new characters. Humans are struggling to survive and stay human and the big question if there really is a cure/vaccine that was developed in the lab runs all the way through this Season.ITs very dark and apocalyptic with hardly any moments when the dark and depressing tone is lightened. There is a lot going on, so much that I got quite confused and some events are not explained at all. At least they are not explained in this Season... Personally I found there were just too many new characters with no obvious reason to be in the story line. It felt a bit like Game of Thrones Book 4.... if you read the books you probably know what I mean.
But still it was a totally compelling watch, I sat through it and have now more questions then I had after Season 1. Thankfully we will get Season 3 next year!

very enjoyable
I really enjoyed this drama, quite more than I expected and much more than Imitation to be honest. Loved the fact it depicted a actual band (they never get enough attention in general) and the sound track was really good. I had both Love Paranoia and Beautiful Breakup on my playlist for weeks. The individual stories of the members I also enjoyed a lot although the main character, well, funny but also very odd (could not relate at all! And btw what happened with his dad?). The acting in general was also pretty good and I totally fell in love with JR (been quite obessivly looking at Nuest MVs even though they were never on my radar before this). His acting I thought was especially good and I just enjoyed his story line. I still dont get the big deal them being together but hey.. it made for good drama with lots of genuine moments (yes, I cried!)
If you are looking for something light hearted, funny and in some moments touching without expecting big plots or surprises this is one for you. ITs just some good entertainment (with some VERY bad kissing scenes. Sorry but main character and female character - zero chemistry! JR and his love interest however... ).
Anyway, go and watch it if you want some light hearted entertainment with enough drama for it to not get boring - I did even re-watch some of the episodes which I rarely do!

Best KD Drama so far
I started watching KD Dramas last year (Pandemic is to blame!) and have been watching pretty much non-stop (I have a lot to catch up on!!). Watched all Genres from Medical, Action, Historical, Zombie, School/Teenage, Coming of Age, Comedy, Melodrama... everything...If there is one Drama that really stood out it's Hyena. I enjoyed this Drama so much! The female lead, you just gotta love her (especially the women will love her, not sure how she goes down with men), she is so tough, cool, clever and totally got it together. No simpering heroine in this drama that's for sure! The interactions between her and the male lead (he was in Kingdom... which was my first KD Drama!) was just brilliant. I loved the way they tried to outdo each other and his childish glee when he thought he got one over on her.
This is the first drama where I rewatched certain scenes over and over (gosh that one when he meets her in the courtroom as herself the first time... dang.. its just so good!! ).
Like all KD Dramas it was a bit drawn out at the end (it sometimes feels they have to have 16 Episodes in a Series even if the story has been told and there is just wrap up in the last episode) but apart from that this show was fab.

What an enjoyable show!
There are lots of these kind of programms and I watched most of them mainly on MNET. I have to say this this on JTBC is like a breath of fresh air. The focus is on the teams and performances and less on drama, intrigue, evil editing, showing the same thing three times in a row.... the list of annoying MNET practises that everybody knows and hates. The judges on Peak Time have great chemistry and are really funny. I also really like the general format of the show - giving groups that just debut, have not been successfull (yet) or had to disband a chance to shine and find new fans. There was a elimination round at the beginning but it was done without a lot of drama, the performances that had at least one vote were aired the others were not aired. On MNET what gets aired and what not really doesnt make sense sometimes and often feels really unfair.
But the really lovely things was how much the different groups supported each other, in the mixed stages all these new friendships were made and the competitive element was held to a minimum. This will probably change now that the next round of elemination comes up - it is a competition but watching episode 3-6 you can easily forget.
The voting especially for fans outside Korea was really easy via the Peak Team Webpage. Even I managed to vote!
But the best thing are the fabulous performances. These are all idols, they are not trainees so the quality of the performances is so high. I found lots of new groups that I can support next to the ones I already knew.
I hope more people watch it and start supporting these incredible groups.

Realistic and enjoyable
I have seen that lots of reviewers found many of flaws with this drama and yes there are some there is no doubt about it. In general however this drama was very enjoyable (i watched without knowing the Webtoon) and to me it felt very real and relateable. The relationsship between the main characters I can totally understand. Instant attraction is rare, but is it enough to build a real relationship? Can you ever be satisfied with a half relationsship especially if you are emotionally invested? Would you rather stay safe and not tell somebody you love them instead of risking heart ache? If you are very good friends first how will that play out if you move this relationship to the next level?
Everybody is scared of rejection and loosing people close to you and through the side stories these is shown very well. There is also he dilemma about having choices and even if you know that long term somebody might be better for you if the spark is missing would that be enough to try?
Lots here is also showing how communication really is the problem in most relationsships. Not saying what you really feel and want because you want to protect yourselve. Making assumptions about people and how they feel and just playing some strange games even though you know all you want to do is be with that person.
So yes, I did enjoy it even though sometimes you just want to scream at the screen and shake them. I am personally not a big fan of the main male lead, This actor only seems to do the broody sexy thing and there is nothing wrong with it per se but I just not seen him proper acting....
I actually only started watching it because Seunghyub is also in this drama but then ended up enjoying it and binge watching the whole thing (only 10 episodes)
