I'm bias, because I loved the two leading actresses, even before this series. I enjoyed the story of hard economic challenges, check, coming of age, check, rivalry and respect check, generational timelines, check, beautiful leading ladies, check check, check, love and chemistry, check, laughs, check, cries, check check check, growing pains, check, character development, check, words of wisdom, check. It has been said that you can never take a job too seriously. But I beg to differ. A job is suppose to be there for you to live and not something for you to live for, especially if it causes unhealthy habits. This series went a little too far on the working part. In most other series, they go too little short on the working realities and business professional aspects of life and seem to leisurely and spend happy. i will likely re watch this series, at some point.
This series had an interesting dynamic of multiple sides to each charter. Wonderful casting, evident as each really owned their character very well. My high rating also was because I liked how this was not just about lives of the rich full of adventure, but a story full of character allowing sides of the less glorious aspects of living conditions to be fittingly expressed. And, because there is much to think about in the story, it will likely be viewed again a year or two from now. My only gripe is that the main character female proved to be far too smart to allow herself get beat up all the time, so that part did not make sense to happen, so often, if at all.
