Mental disorders trigger warnings
One of the most realistic ones I've seen on the painful topic of dealing with mental health disorders from both sufferers and caregivers perspective. Up until around the halfway mark, I had thought the poster image for this drama is quite deceiving. This isn't a happy, feel good drama and comes with a lot of trauma and mental affliction trigger warnings of all kind including unaliving oneself. It also explores the impact all of these have on their loved ones which I'm sure will hit close to home for a lot of the viewers. However as the story progresses I began to see it's not all dark and gloom and it does a great job portraying both sides in their daily efforts to get better, be happy humans or sometimes just get through the day. As is often the case in real life, some of their stories are successful, some are not but by the end of the show I no longer felt tricked by the poster image.
The deliberate light romance doesn't take away from the essence of the issues they're trying to bring across, focusing instead on deeper, more heartfelt emotions. It does start to drag a little in the second half but I still found it absolutely worth watching and empathized with all the characters right till the end.
Some might find this boring, just understand this is a slice of life type drama so if this isn't your thing you can just skip it. But if you or someone close to you has worked in this field, then you know that a lot of what you see in this drama does actually happen and the toll it takes can be incredibly hard to overcome.

A disservice to leads otherwise good acting abilities
I hate not finishing a series once I start, but the way I struggled to finish this, good grief 🥴I loved them in Goblin and thought they had great chemistry, but this show is.not.it.
It's a shame because I actually liked the story and it felt somewhat real, but Oh Yun Seo comes across as this innocent, perfect 15yr old with no substance which is wild since she does seem mature and intelligent at times. I have no clue what went wrong with Lee dong wook's character Jung rock, I've seen him pull off cold and emotionless before and with praise, but for whatever reason they did not click at all for me.
The jarring contrast between what seems like middle school crush interactions one moment and serious, life altering murder convictions the next felt completely out of place.
The writing is atrocious and leads acting felt severely subpar to the other shows I've seen them in. Oh Jung Se was fantastic as usual, and brief Jang ki yong's visuals helped but this was overall a complete waste of time for me and would not recommend.

I had high hopes
Yo Han was awesome in Black Out earlier this year and I adore Hye Sun in all 9 of her dramas I've watched but for me this, just like Target, was a disappointment. Not a bad film by any means but definitely underwhelming in my opinion. There is a lack of tension that is palpable given where the story needs us to go and it does a poor job on delivery. Whether this is due the writing, directing, editing, music or a mix of these it's down to you.The cast was good though and it definitely hasn't put me off watching these 2 in the future.
