Just a recap

I am sorry for the low rating in acting and music, but to be honest, why woud I give more, sice they did nothing here? This special ep was made of some scenes from drama and put together as a movie. If they wanted to make a movie, then it could be at least 90 minutes long and it could be called: "Deep night: The movie".

If you've seen drama, there is no need for you to watch this. I mean, yeah, if you are not over them and want to see them again, then it should be ok for you I guess, but I'm pretty sure youtube, instagram, facebook, tiktok ect are full of recaps like this. Maybe not this long, but they exist and you can put them together.

There is really no need to make "special episode" like this. Please, don't do it again. When it says special episode, we expect something new. We want to know what had happened after the end. Did they fight? Did they go on some trip? Did they ovecome something serious? There are things we want to see in special episode.

There is another option which could be done. Khemid and Wela are happy together ever after, we all know that. But what about Japan, Seiji and Ken? Those three are something new in the world of BL (at least for me), so I personally, want to know hoe they actually work out. Yes, we saw they are happy and this and that, but how? I feel like their story is not complete and I would like to know more about their relationship.

BL or bromance? Who cares! It's just good and I am not surprised it was banned in China

Ok... Now, few hours after finishing, I think I'm ready to write this review. When I heard it was banned but Chinese fans were smart enough to download all episodes, I was really excited to watch this. In the end, not dissapointed.

I totally loved all main characters, even tho I was kinda lost in their names, but that is fault of not official subtitles, which I truly hope will get better. LJS and RZM were amazing and their chemistry really did spark. To be honest, I'm not surprised Chinese government had to ban this drama, but it's pitty, because the story was just perfect. In the first place, this is drama about dangoerous deadly game and few people trying to survive. BL aspect was just part of it. I'm about to read novel, so I 'm looking forward the scenes which didn't make it up the drama.

I don't really like horrors so I was asking myself: "Am I really watch this just bcs is censored BL?" The answer was clear, to be honest... But I really loved the story. Sometimes it was really scary, sometimes not. Sometimes I felt butterflies in my belly, sometimes I fet like I'm about cry the whole night.

Every single doors containes different story and characters have to find clues and find our what's goin on. It's not easy, but when they work together, it's not even hard. The story is full of tension which made me watch whole drama in few days and I really recommend this one.

But I have some reservations towards the ending. I mean, I can't say I didn't like, but neither that I did. The last scene just doesn't make sense to me. Overall. I really enjoy this. If you are afraid it's just bromance and you want BL, don't care. Yes, it is bromance, but as I said before, I'm not surprised China bannes it.

SPOILER ALERT >>> I haven't read novel yet, so maybe I just didn't get it correctly, but why did he have to make whole new world? Why not just new NPC? I mean, it was possible for his friend to create NPC which is able to come out of game, so why not do it again? I know it's not easy, but this is supernatural or rather kind of scifi show and it was possible one time. Why not again? And I would like to know who was that friend from high school.

Well... Someone is really dead

Hah… What to say about this? I went into it completely blind, with my only reason for watching it was Barcode. And I think this definitely convinced me that I don't need to see everything that the actors I like are in.

To be clear, DFF was definitely not bad. On the contrary, I enjoyed the series. People who know me know that I don't like horror things, but this was probably the most horrory horror thing I've ever seen. The best part was when I was alone in the evening in my dorm room and watching this... Before I could take it off, I was already too curious about what was going to happen next.

For the entire first four episodes, I asked myself: "Wila, are you really going to watch something like this just because it's BL?" I'm not proud of it, but in part it really was. I told myself that I would drop after fifth episode, because Barcode was supposed to appear in the fifth, and then I would see. However, with the fifth episode, a flashback started, which lasted for several more episodes, and this flashback was no longer quite horror.

The first four episodes are really scary (at least for someone like me), but after the fifth episode, it slows down a bit. Horror turns into a psychological genre centered around high school kids. They want to make a movie and they need the help of the class weirdo, whom they like to bully.

I'm writing this review with quite a distance, but I still remember how I felt watching each new episode. I started watching when there were five of them and I looked forward to the rest every week.

I'm not going to go into the details of the plot so as not to reveal spoilers. I dare say that the story itself was really well written and the actors also did an amazing job. Most of them were just rookies and these were their first acting roles, but they did a really amazing job.

I apreciate Barcode the most. Partly because I already know him, but also largely because his character was full of all kinds of emotions and Barcode managed them all in one piece. He was able to play love, pain, fear, despair, frustration, madness... And everything was believable.

Overall, I don't have a problem watching something like this (BL and everything that belongs here) in public, but I watched DFF exclusively when I was alone because I'm too expressive a person and things like bulging eyes, gasping for breath, gasping for breath at certain moments and sometimes screaming into a pillow are not for me nothing special.

I've read various comments on facebook, instagram or MyDramaList, and I came across opinions that some people don't like any of the characters. I totally understand them. This really isn't the type of story where you can say the characters are cuties because they're not at all.

But once I got into an argument about one character that I don't want to say is a villain, because everyone in DFF is a villain in a way. It just depends on who you think did the worst thing, because it all ties together in some way, and I think if even one event hadn't happened, the story would have gone in a completely different direction.

One character was probably hated the most by everyone, but I liked him for some reason. I did not justify his actions, but when I got to know his background, I perceived him completely differently. To say that I liked him is perhaps too much, let's say rather that I didn't hate him.

If I remember correctly, the flashback ended in the ninth or tenth episode, and then we brought the ss back to the present again, where new facts are revealed.

All the time, I was consumed by the question, is there something supernatural behind all the bad things that are happening there or is everything the work of man. I was leaning towards the first option, but to be honest, I would be much more pleased with the second one. Not because I wanted fantasy, but because it was all really twisted and I was sick of the idea that a living person could do such a thing.

The end... Um... I really don't know what to write about this without giving something away. I'll just say that I never expected a happy ending and I didn't get one. However, not a happy ending does not mean a bad ending in the sense that it was not handled well. I have some reservations about it, and maybe someone who loves horror movies would have a lot more, but I liked the ending. I noticed a long time ago that the last episode is sometimes completely unnecessary in Thai BLs, and here I was of the same opinion for about half of the episode, but the last scenes made up for it all.

Overall, even though this is far from something I would willingly watch if I knew what it was about, I have to say that I really enjoyed the show. As far as possible, of course. I know there are people who enjoy horror movies, but I'm not one of them. I rather enjoyed the psychological part, which really made my stomach growl, but it was also full of deep themes such as bullying and its possible consequences on the psyche or the fact that the truth always comes out, no matter how long it takes.

I was more then surprised

Well, this was really something. The very first time I've read the synopis, I had no expectations and basicly I didn't even want to watch it. But my friend did and she liked so I gave it a chance and... I was really rusprised how good it actually is!

The chemistry between all of them is amazing and I totally fell in love with all couples. Even that the most surprising one. Like... What? The? Hell?... I was screaming, not sure of it was out of happiness or frustration, probably both, but I still love the way they were put together, even tho I think it would be better if there was something with Japan a Ken.

Anyway, I enjoyed Wela and Khem's performance and generally the plot. Setting was surprisingly good choice.

Great sim of mutual chemistry

Our dating sim is officially the best BL k-drama I've ever seen. The short story, which can be watched as one longer film, brought a subject that I personally have not yet encountered. High school graduation didn't go as planned, but Shin Ki Tae and Lee Wan met again after seven years and explained everything to each other after a long time. I am not a fan of mobile games of this type, that's why I was a little hesitant to start this at all, but luckily I quickly realized that it's not a game, but a series. The chemistry between the actors is amazing and the supporting characters also prove themselves. The always tired Sunny was definitely the best of the group of colleagues we could meet.

I like it

For some reason I thought all kdramas were 16 episodes long... I don't know, I assumed it was an unwritten rule. Since there were only 12 of them and the content intrigued me, I didn't hesitate and started watching. I liked all three main characters from the first moment and thanks to them I devoured the 12 episodes in a few days. I admit, I expected a different kind of the ending, but I also liked this very much. The actors matched each other and their interactions were almost flawless. I enjoyed Ji Han's facial expressions the most.

Best BL of 2024 so far

Wow. So this was something amazing. A while ago I sent a friend this message: "It's amazing, amazing amazing amazing perfect great wonderful and I've run out of synonyms for the word amazing." And I stand by my words. The interesting thing is that the series is filmed in Taiwan, but according to a Chinese book by a very famous author called Priest, One Chinese series based on a book by this author has already been banned in China, so I'm glad that Taiwan took the initiative to create such a wonderful work. It will be very difficult for me to say goodbye to this couple. I think this is the first time I'm sorry that it's not common outside of Thailand for couples to stay together and star in multiple series because Chris and Kurt are the stars. They played the roles of Qian and Yuan perfectly and put their best into both characters. Chemistry begets chemistry, tension builds, and sparks fly exactly when they're supposed to. AWESOME.

MosBank can do better.

I'm sorry, I don't mean any hate, but to me it's the same as We are. It's cute, sweet, fluffy, romantic, but that's all. It's been six episodes and I don't actually know what had happened so far. It atarted so well,

I really enjoyed the first two episodes, but I have no idea what happened next. I totally loved and still love the fact that in their previous series they basically wanted to rape each other but here they are both so patient. I made me feel butterflies. I'm not here to comments that they are adult who act like highschoolers when it comes to love, besause I'm also 20 years old with no experience here and when I get a lover, I'd probably act the same as Salin.

MosBank are something. Their chemitry is glowing shining and lightening everything around, but this series is just not for them. They can do better. I was so excited to see them again after Big dragon and even tho I don't really like Sunset x vibes and I'm not sure if I will continue to watch (but I'm cirious about that mysterious part and side couple, so probably I will), I still excited about their next series. They are amazing and I'm sure they can do something really GREAT.

This... I don't know how to explain. It's been half of the story and we still don't know anything about those dreams and visions. Maybe if we did, I'd like it... To me it lacks a story which we were promised to get. Of course, boss and intern, jewerly business, the accusation of copyright... It's all good, but what about that dreams and visions and Naga and Thai mytology and fantasy topic which we were promised to get? Where is it? This is not different than A boss and a babe in jewerly business version.

Khun dad. That one thing maked me want to vomit. I really don't mean any hate, I feel like there are lot of people thinking the same, but I had to tell you my opinion as well. It's the cringiest cringe I've ever seen.

Another thing... Now we know Salin comes from a rich family as well. Regarding how he acted when he had found out about Sun, I expected Sun to act the same way. Or least have a conversation. Understanding that Salin just pretended not to be okay with it and that's the reason why he got over it so fast...

I don't mean any hate. I was really excited and I still want to like it but it's not that good as it could be.

I decided I'll drop after six episodes but I'll read all new comments and reviews and than after last episode, I'll decide if I'll finish or not.

I am sorry to say this....

I'm not sure if I will rate this series with stars. I think that the stars will appear sooner or later, but at this moment I want to express my opinion in words, because the stars do not seem to me to be something adequate for my opinion that I want to share with you.

I watched it from the very beginning, which means I waited for a new episode every week. Amazing actors, catchy trailer, 16 episodes... I was really looking forward to it. I convinced a friend to watch it with me because after the third episode I figured I'd need someone to talk to about it. We'd sent each other edits, theories and various other nonsense and we would melt together over all the characters.

Please note that I will not avoid spoilers in this review. I want to write what I really think and it won't be possible without spoilers. A few minutes back, my pen pal friend asked me how many points out of 10 I would give it. Honestly? I don't want to answer, but it would be 6.5. You can't even imagine how much I regret writing something like this about We are.
The beginning:

It started perfectly. The first episodes and actually the entire first half were carried in such a relaxed and cute spirit. We got to know the characters, their behaiour, the dynamics of the entire friends group and we could get to know the couples and choose which one we fan the most. Naturally, everyone. No triangle, no unnecessary drama. We are talking about the first half. Only in the Thai BL it is possible that five couples can be formed in a party of ten friends, but I don't intend to dwell on that.

The lead couple, Phum and Peem, played by Pond and Phuwin, were starring. Their chemistry is incredible, and even though many people complain that Phuwin dseems uncomfortable when it comes to kissing with Pond, I felt the whole time that it wasn't Phuwin, but Peem, who wasn't sure. Do you understand? A character, not an actor. When they were on the screen, everything else fell by the wayside. How can someone be so sweet? As with them, I last melted a year and a half ago at MSP.

But here I come to a stumbling block. Everything I wrote so far applied to the first half. Phum and Peem did not have a nice first meeting, but mutual feelings found their way to each other very quickly. After so many wonderful scenes, kisses, looks, consoling, supporting, cheering and other things… After all this, how could Peem be so surprised when Phum said he liked him? Why did he even say he liked him? We all know that by this time he had long since loved him. Why did Peem decide to play hard to get with the words: "Try to win my heart then," when an episode earlier he said: "Haven't I fallen for you enough already?" Why did they suddenly have trouble kissing each other on the cheek when they used to kiss each other casually on the lips?

TanFang. I somehow suspected that these two would steal my attention. I loved Tan from the first scene and couldn't wait to see how his relationship with Fang would develop. Unlike the others, these were not playing for anything. All the drama between them happened before the series started and we were introduced to them shortly before they started dating. I once came across a comment in which someone commented that if everyone had Tan's courage and Fang's promptness, the series would have ended on the fifth episode. I am not the author of this statement, but I agree with it wholeheartedly.

When they got together, I expected some drama. After all, they were friends and suddenly they are in a relationship, which are two things that absolutely cannot be compared. I expected the creators to show us how these absolute opposites can work together. Nothing. I know that opposites attract, but these two are extreme and I would really like to know how their relationship actually works. Because the vast majority of their scenes are based on the fact that Tan is too clingy and Fang should be happy, but to me personally it felt like Tan was getting on his nerves and Fang didn't know how to send him somewhere. Yes, I am one of those who initially claimed that Fang shows no effort in the relationship with Tan, and that it is all built on the other half. In time, it became clear that Fang was also interested, but by that time we had passed our youth. Their whole relationship seemed toxic to me. I don't know how to explain it, but they just haven't sent me home for a long time. At first yes, then no and then again yes and no again. Fang recovered and I felt like popping the champagne. The spaghetti scene made me sit on my ass, and it was only at that moment that I recognized that the effort was also on Fang's part. But the problem came when Fang cried in front of Tan. Our princess Fang, cried in front of Tan. And Tan's reaction? Typical Tan. Haha hihi, cmon babe, don't cry, you're so cute... For real? This was a situation that clearly required Tan's seriousness. I know that he probably doesn't even know such a word, but this situation was crying out for it. Literally and to the letter. Tan should have behaved completely differently. I understand that Fang may have needed Tan's overhyped optimism in the situation, but the situation screamed for the exact opposite. As for their backstory... I would like to see the whole story. How could Fang be a badboy? HOW??? As much as I loved Tan in the beginning, I couldn't stand him in the end.

QToey. I admit, I didn't expect much about their storyline. I know the actors from MSP, where they were overshadowed by the main couple and didn't even attract my attention. But here I perceived them and I must say that their chemistry is breathtaking. Q and Toey also have some past together, after the revelation of which I thought that Toey is a stalker. But I still liked him. Toey is a cutie. I have nothing more to say about them portable. I thought they would interest me the least, but the opposite was true. From the moment things between Phum and Peem stopped making sense, I turned my attention to them. I would also like to add that overall, compared to the other pairs, they bothered me the least.

And finally ChainPun. Somehow I guessed that it would take them the longest and I was right. The last scene of the last episode, exactly as I expected. I'm very glad that they clarified how they feel about each other, but honestly? Maybe I wouldn't mind so much if they stayed on that platonic plane. I'm glad they didn't stay, but it would be interesting to see the exact opposite.

As for the story itself... the four romantic lines fit together perfectly I just remembered Kluen and discovered another stumbling block. I liked him, it was clear from the beginning that he has feelings for Peem, but also accepts Peem's feelings for Phum. So I don't understand the wave of the hate that the followers threw at him. But what pissed me off was that the boy made a drama that wasn't really made by him but by Toey and disappeared. The end could also belong to him and he could be part of the action.

The plot was quite simple. There was practically nothing spectacular going on, although I was expecting a flurry of drama from 16 episodes. Somewhere between the lines, we can find a couple of deep topics, which, however, are nowhere near developed to the extent that they could and should have been. I will use Phum's situation with his father as an example. We know practically nothing about it. They do not have a good relationship and the father sent Phum abroad. Okay, but why did he do that? Why did Phum leave but Fang didn't have to? Why is it that when Phum meets Peem's family, we don't even get a hint of jealousy and envy towards Peem's relationship with his parents?

Already at the beginning of the second half, I noticed that the creators focused on a lot of cute scenes without a deeper meaning. In my eyes, 16 episodes is completely unnecessary. It had potential, there were a lot of things that could have happened, but instead the story dragged and at some points I felt that the editors were not in their right mind while putting this series together, especially during the Phum and Peema scenes.

I'm sorry for all the bad things I said about We are. Unfortunately, that's all I really think. In my opinion, the creators relied on good casting, which ultimately worked for them. If you look on IMDB or MDL, We are has really high ratings. I once led a discussion at MDL, the participants of which agreed that if the cast consisted of rookies or lesser-known faces, the rating would not revolve around an eight, but a six.

It's just wasted potential. I've noticed for a long time that Thai production puts quantity over quality, which doesn't always pay off. We are a success. The vast majority of followers love it and rate it positively. I would very much like to do the same, but I can't.

The positive that We are has brought is that AouBoom has gained a huge fan following and it is believed that they may soon have their own series. After so many supporting roles, it would be about time, wouldn't it?
I know that my words are far from positive, but despite everything I wrote, I recommend watching it. The subject was perfect, the processing itself failed. As if the director, but especially the screenwriter, didn't have time and wanted to get it over with as soon as possible.

I believe that I will soon see all the faces again in something new and more meaningful.

Could be so good

I don't even know what to say about this... At first it was so meh, then the story picked up a bit, then it slowed down again, and the ending could have been forgiven for the last scene, because I think it would have been much better without it.

When it comes to the topic of a romantic relationship between a human and a robot, something interesting can come out of it, but that doesn't automatically mean something good. Something like this needs to be worked on really well, and for the story to work, it would need something more. If someone wants to watch an ordinary and slightly strange love story, they might like it, but I personally expected a little more from this concept. The main characters had a lot of nice scenes, but they are not enough to offer a good story. The chemistry was good, the actors were likeable, the performances are hard to say...

I think that if they put more into this project, in terms of script and overall production, it could have been much better. The last scene... Oh my, I'd really like to pretend it doesn't exist, but unfortunately, those few seconds ruined my otherwise good impression of the whole series. He could have had a pretty deep point, but instead the creators put it at the end, who assumed we wanted to see. Many certainly do, this is how it lost the meaning it could have had.

Moo is the cutest character I've ever seen

Okay… For some reason I didn’t want to watch this. No idea why, I haven’t seen the trailer, I didn’t know anything about the actors, I just wasn’t interested. WRONG! Know what convinces me to give it a chance? Comment where someone said it’s similar to My school president. I'm a huge fan of MSP and when I heard this, I just had to watch it.

And I got hooked after a few minutes. I can’t believe Keen and Sea are that young. Their chemistry is amazing and they are so cute together! Their scenes were amazing and great.

Moo is definitely the cutest character I’ve ever seen. Have you seen his smile? Damn, if I was a girl in that universe, I’d be head over heels in love with him. Kang as well. Damn, those two really match together.

The thing is, both of them are newbies in the entertainment industry, but it’s really hard to believe. Well, the same thing I thought about Gemini and Fourth and look at them now. I see KeenSea can be the same as they are and I hope they will be. I want to see them again.

Side couple? They were cute as well. I totally love them both. I mean, all four of them. Kang, Moo, Yos and Tae. It’s really hard to choose which couple I liked more. It’s impossible. For me at least. I just wish YosTae would get more screentime because I feel like there was much more they could show us. I feel like their story lacked something and I’ll explain it later.

In the synopsis, there is something written about the no-dating rule in idol agency, so I thought they would date secretly and drama would come. Nope, nothing like that, only by the end. Moo is so cute while flirting with Kang. I love how he fell in love at first sight and then did whatever to pursue him! Aww that was so cute!
When the no-dating rule came, Many people were complaining and saying that it was totally unnecessary, but I feel like this part was actually needed. In my opinion both couples needed it.

Now I’m going to say something about Shone – Moo’s cousin who also had a crush on Kang. So many people hated him and said he should disappear and let them be. But he did. When he found out Kang was Moo’s crush, he let them be together. He flirted with Kang again only six months after he and Moo had broken up. I see nothing wrong here. His feelings for Kang were real and there was nothing wrong with them.

I understand why people don’t like it, but I personally did.
Now I’d like to say something about the end. I feel like it was too rushed. When I saw the preview of the 12th ep, the first thing I thought of was: I feel like this is gonna be too much drama for one ep. Too many things are unsolved and I think Yos and Tae deserve much more than one ep to complete their storyline. And I think that even now after finishing. It was too rushed.

Mix of variable genres with really good outcome

I'm writing this review really late, because there was no time when I finished watching the series, and then I completely forgot about it. At first I initially avoided The Sign because I wasn't in the mood for anything action-packed with a police setting, but the internet was full of edits with the main characters, so I thought I'd give it a chance. The high rating just confirmed that I should check it out.

I found out very quickly that it is not just a police story, but that it is full of fantasy elements that are very unusual for BLs (at least the ones I have seen up to that point). Overall, I haven't come across anything like this in Thai art so far, but that's probably only because I watch only a fraction of what they create.

We can meet fantasy elements in several series, but mostly it's about ghosts, time travel, and then there are a few exceptions like soul mates or a talking teddy bear, and in the new ones, the creators like to play with parallel worlds. The sign brought something completely new (for me). Not only with the story, but also with visual effects, which are not necessary for the mentioned types of fantasy.

A little research confirmed that the fantasy part was a part of Thai mythology, which really interested me. The combination of action, mystery plot, love and urban fantasy is very dangerous. It can burn really well, but also end up being very, very bad. Here, unfortunately, it was the first option.

The amazing story was made even better by the actors and their characters. Billy and Babe starred in the main roles, and sometimes Khem stole my attention. All the actors did a great job, they put exactly what was needed into their characters, enriched each scene exactly what it required and I'm not even talking about the chemistry. Billy and Babe went their separate ways, but so did the others. Friendship, devotion and on the one hand psychopathic obsession were shown as they should have been.

I liked how it all fit together. Everything was connected and together formed one big puzzle. When combining as many elements as were mixed here, it can turn out differently, but it can be seen that the creators paid attention to every detail.

However, I have some reservations about the ending. The following text may contain spoilers, so I warn you to read at your own risk. Despite what I will say now, I find the story really perfectly thought out. I didn't like Chalothon just letting Tharn go, though. Tharn appeared out of nowhere and said that someone who was downright obsessed with him and just wanted to be with him the whole time just said he was going to heal him and let him go? It does not make sense. Chalothorn would never behave like this. I have a theory (unconfirmed yet, but I hope the special won't disprove it) that Tharn killed him and told Phaya something completely different. It's the only explanation for the ending that comes to mind in my eyes.

As I said before, regardless of this small detail, for which there is an explanation, it is just doubtful whether the explanation will be part of the plot, it is really well done. The first trailers for the new projects have already been published, so I'm very excited because I saw something similar between them and I'm glad that BL production decided to work with such a type. I hope that they will not overdo it and that they will choose only good projects.

Could be really good... could

When my pen pal sent me some edits, I thought I wanted to see it. It interested me right from the start, maybe also because I saw 1000stars only recently and the set with the characters reminded me a lot of this series in combination with Manner of death or The sign. Sounds great, doesn't it? At first it was.

The rules of the two worlds and traveling between them were simple, we had someone to explain what and how it worked, all the characters had their own personality and their actions made sense. Mysterious, tension, feelings and confusion in them... It made sense.

The dynamic of the main characters was amazing, but it's no wonder since Max and Nat have been through something. The side couple also starred, although they only stole my attention at the end. I think they could have been incorporated into the plot a bit more, because somewhere in between the teasing of each other, they certainly had something to offer. Anyway, in the last three episodes, they were the best that was shown on the screen and not just because of THAT scene.

And then came the second half, where some disease appeared that only a possibly non-existent miracle flower could cure, and everything revolved around him. For me, 2W ended with the ninth episode, and I consider the tenth one just a cover that was meant to gag those who wanted a happy ending.

GemFot deserve better

I'm sick of it. This is already the third BL with perfect cast and a perfect promise, from which something so terrible has turned out. Okay, maybe "terrible" is a bit of an exaggeration, but it definitely wasn't good. Genimi and Fourth are awesome. I love them as actors, I love their chemistry, I love their friendship, I love their projects so far, I love their interactions, I love their catch-up, I love how they support each other, but I'm not going to be less critical this time just because of the amazing actors, and honestly, I don't care this time whether someone scolds me in a hater or tells me that I should stick my opinion somewhere (because that happened with We are a Love sea).

I could extol the talent of the mentioned actors to the heavens and it still wouldn't be enough. As far as my information is correct, this series was written for them. Bought from Japan and modified for them to be exact. And that's exactly where the problem lies. They were originally supposed to play a supporting couple in 23.5, and I honestly think they would have starred there much more than here.

Thus, MLMU was not exactly bad. It was, but at the same time it wasn't. I'll try to explain. I can imagine how the series would look if Japanese production had it under its thumb. I have not yet seen or read the original version of Kieta hatsukoi or the manga with the same name, but I plan to do at least one of the above. I can't explain it, but Japan puts something into its production, thanks to which you already know at a glance that it is Japanese, and this is especially true for works based on manga. It was said in BTS that the Thai version will have both Thai and Japanese elements in it, which I was really looking forward to and was curious to see how it would turn out. Hah... So it didn't turn out well in my eyes. Again, I can imagine it could look good, but it doesn't.

Each episode contains about a million product placement ads, but I personally didn't mind that much. I got used to them over the years.

The story wasn't bad, but some... how would I call it?... elements, ruined the artistic experience. To the letter and to the letter. Some scenes had me melting like ice cream in the sun, but the scene was momentarily ruined by Atom's screams. On the contrary, it also happened that I was bored during the whole episode, but something happened towards the end, thanks to which I completely forgot about the previous 40 minutes. I experienced this, for example, in the episode where they were in the camp or where they started to figure out how they should treat each other in a relationship. And many others.

As I read the comments on MDL, I realize that I am not alone. I wanted to write a long review, but I guess I'm not going to get upset about it unnecessarily... It could have been good, it wasn't, Thailand should stop making remakes and focus on their own projects. Don't tell me they don't have enough to draw from.

Like this... The story itself wasn't really bad. It pointed to the typical problems of teenagers in love, which I liked, but I'm damn sure it could have been done differently and better. Some scenes could really be forgiven, but as for the emotional ones, they succeeded one hundred percent. For example, the one where Thap and Atom were tying ribbons or the one where Atom was mad because Thap was bitten by a snake... The first kiss, the second kiss... All of that was amazing, but I don't think it was the quality of the script, but the acting of the actors .

As for the side couple, Mudmee and Half stole my attention at times. The only thing that bothered me about them were Mudmee's friends, who I still think wanted to split them up, because otherwise she wouldn't have such kohlrabies pushed into her head.

Overall, it wasn't exactly bad, but it was also far from perfect. I haven't seen the Japanese version yet, but something tells me it's much better. I hope GemFot gets a better project in the future. They mentioned in an interview that Gem would like to play the bad boy and Fot the twins, so I strongly believe that their next series will fulfill their wishes.

Not an ordinary love BL

Originally, I didn't want to watch this series at all. Sixteen ninety-minute episodes didn't particularly appeal to me, but since my pen pal friend was convicing me about a year that I should watch it, I thought I'd give it a chance. Partly also to give me a break with this XD.

The first episodes didn't excite me in any way, in large part because of Nut, who was really not easy to find my way to and like him. But then the flashbacks came and the more his past was revealed, the more I understood his behavior. Nut seems like an complicated character at first, but his past gives meaning to every bad word that comes out of his mouth. Tofu, on the other hand, is a total cutie. They are like yin and yang with Nut.

Teddy bear differs from other romantic BLs in that it is not just about a romantic line. In addition to love, various other topics such as domestic violence, parental homophobia, toxic family relationships, separation and many others are dealt with. Things were happening in the background all the time, which at first seemed to be unimportant, but eventually fit perfectly into the main storyline. Finding out that Song is actually Nueng's brother, that Prim knows Tarn, the assault investigation, the extremely annoying neighbor whose eyes I'd rather gouge out... All of this was directly related to Nut and somehow fit into his story. If even one detail were missing, the whole story would change from the ground up.

I knew how the story would end, so some things weren't that shocking to me. It made certain things make sense to me before their meaning was revealed, and what some people feared, I looked forward to.

Despite all that, the last two episodes got me. During them, all the emotions in me alternated, but in the end it still ended with joy. The ending was exactly what this story called for.
