At first I thought this was a pretty nice drama; the storyline being the OG “contract marriage”, and the funny/clumsy character of Shen Jin. However, as I got near the end, the plot began to feel boring to me as the “climax” of the drama had mostly passed. Shen Jin opened her fabric shop, and Chu Xiuming defeated his enemies in court. After that, I felt that the rest of the drama wasn’t really worth watching anymore, and I had to force myself to finish “General’s Lady”. However, I think that with some changes in the plot and script, the end of the drama could’ve been more interesting. I still recommend this drama if you’re looking for a humorous yet utterly romantic historical drama.
