It's a good drama, but I personally think they failed the female main character
Goblin was my first Korean drama and the plot caught my attention. It was very well produced, detail oriented I may say. I think Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In-Na did a really great job. The spotlights, to me at least, were on the relationship between the goblin and the grim reaper. Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In-Na were a great couple full of chemistry. I like the story, I think it was well developed, except for one thing only: they could have explored Kim Go-eun better. Her character was way too childish for the age (I don't know if it has any difference in Korea, but here in the Eastern 19 yo girls are more mature than that). The childish behaviour turned the love story a little weird. Besides that, I think it's a good production and deserves to be watched and appreciated. I had lots of fun.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Yoo In-Na and Lee Dong Wook are great together.
This is a romance drama, so you shouldn't expect much more than a slice of life really fun and well executed drama. Both the actors are great, fun and they have chemistry to the bones. Watch Lee Dong Wook being almost robotic, and see the ice being melted little by little is nice to see. He really knows how to touch you throu his acting. I wanted to hug Yoo In-Na during the entire show. She was so adorable and sweet. It was well developed, and as much as her character was entering Kwon's heart, she was entering yours too. This was the most different drama I've watched. I got involved in the story, I really like the OST (I might say it is my favorite OST in any drama ever). As it was mentioned before, it has lots of indie vibes. The director went to different ways sometimes, and it's not just another drama. It was made to be different. I think it is poetic, adorable. And besides some drama it may contain, most of the time you are just happy with them. It's impressive how Lee Dong Wook can have chemistry with any romantic partner. Jung Ryeo Won was bright and so uplifting, I wanted to be her friend. I wish the world had more people like her. Park Ri Hwan is also a happy and playful guy - different from most of Lee Dong Wook serius characters. It was good to see him acting like a playful, good vibes and attentive person. I specially love the last lines. It was a little weird at first because of the brother and sister thing, but as long as you keep watching, you'll see that they were never like siblings, and they ever had some kinda of different affection from each other.
