this drama is not like traditional chinese dramas, all the extra bling was just weird plus the plot was just to complicated. it was DNF but i did like the cast and acting was wonderful, hated the costumes, the story was just stupid like it came out a childrens story book :( novoland was another similar chinese drama aired in 2016 but that one was slightly better, all these fantasy ones are just plain weird tho. i like the traditional chinese ghost and fairy/fox demon stories much more or historical ones:) also legend of the white snake is amazing and demon girl anyway just dont understand why this one was so popular, it was just an ok drama
