If you know Quentin Tarantino's work and other older black comedies and genre-blending films from different eras you will dig this. It's highly rewatchable. The atmosphere, the cinematography and the performances are excellent. And you have to pay attention to the dialogues to fully enjoy it. There are no explicit scenes, but the sexual tension between Chani's character and the girl is so thick, I love when actors can do that.

And that scene with the dog and the finger reminded me of ''Kiss Kiss Bang Bang'' with Robert Downey Jr.

I found two versions of English subtitles and one of them has all the curse words censored with *** and the characters curse a lot! Censorship is a strange thing to do since they let you know from the beginning that this is 18+ and contains strong language. This can be distracting for some people so look for the good subtitles.
