Highly recomend you stick with this series
Okay, like a lot of people warned me the first episode of this.... is bad. I almost want to say it sucks, actually. It's confusing, and I don't think it added much to the story. But I recommend that you watch it... on 2x speed if you have to, which is what I did. I promise you that the rest is amazing if you endure the first episode. This is one of the best series I've seen; unlike many bl's, there are straight couples that are endgame! To be honest, the only reason I didn't give this series a ten is that the ending was kind of annoying. You're left with a huge cliffhanger, but there's season two which I have yet to watch and I'm hoping it'll end well.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

The main couple/overall plot has the potential to be interesting. I personally found it too angsty, but if you're a fan of love triangles, friendly competition, and interesting restaurant dynamics, then it's one of the better restaurant competition-themed shows I've seen. They have good chemistry, but I ended up double-speed/fast-forwarding through most of the main plotline so I could watch the side couple's part. The side couple was definitely the redeeming quality of this show me- a classic rich boy and a hard-working, morally strong love interest. There story was easy to follow, and a breath of fresh air from all the drama and angst in the main plot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching for the side couple Metas and JJ!Honorable mention of the music/audio design- it stood out to me! I enjoyed how they played with beat drops and overall music design.
