I do not give accurate ratings so that is why some stuff you may find mediocre can be a 10 for me! I started watching Korean, Chinese, and Japanese dramas in 2020 so since then I have watched quite a lot… I have since found a preference for time traveling, romance, fantasy, 90’s/00’s, sci-fi, and sorta angsty shows and movies. (I do also have a soft spot for the horror and thriller genres.)

My Secret Romance was my first Kdrama and this is what got me hooked… I know some people might not like it but I personally love it and have rewatched it many times :)

Alice in Borderland was the first Jdrama I watched and this… this was so good. I really love these types of shows because it sort of gives me a break from all the romance shows I watch haha.

Sooo Love O2O was my first Cdrama and the thing is I never actually finished it… I only got up to episode 3 and it wasn’t because I thought it was bad it was more so that I just kind of forgot about it and I keep telling myself I should finish it but uhh maybe one day..

Onto my favorite shows and movies!!!

Abyss is my #1 favorite kdrama of all time! It was one of the first kdramas I watched and I have loved it since the first time I watched it. So so good. Some say the plot is messy and maybe it is but to me it was a fun watch and I really enjoyed it. That being said I need to fully rewatch it but even if my opinion does change, it will always be #1 for me!

Oh how I could talk about Are You Human? forever… Truly such an amazing show, it got me so hooked that I went on to watch My Absolute Boyfriend and I’m Not a Robot shortly after! While in real life I’m a bit scared of robots, maybe I’d make an exception for Nam Sin lll.. maybe.

No matter how many times I watch Girl From Nowhere, I never get tired of it. It makes sense that I like this show considering I lovee Tomie and any of Junji Ito’s other manga. I love how cynical Nanno is and at times can show other types of emotions including sadness. A literal 10/10.

Okay ummm so 20th Century Girl. Thats it. No but honestly I loved this movie and it made me watch Twenty-five Twenty-one. Yeah I know. MOVING ON!

The amount of times I have rewatched Extraordinary You should be studied. Every time I say I will just watch one episode, I end up binging the whole thing. Danoh and Haru have special places in my heart and I will never get tired of seeing them. It’s based on a manhwa called July Found By Chance and I love both equally. The drama really did it justice.

Mirrored Mind is a movie I find myself relating to. I find it to be comforting in a way :)

Strangers From Hell is one of those shows where it leaves you unsettled yet you want to keep on watching it over and over again. I binged the whole show overnight the first time I watched it because it quite literally got me addicted. It’s also based on the Hell is Other People triology manhwa and I really really love it. Although the drama is a little different but it’s still really good.

My Holo Love was also one of the first kdramas I watched and I remember being obsessed with it back in 2020 and then I started getting into other shows but I went back to it and have been obsessed with it ever since. I will always recommend this to anyone that has not watched it. I really really need to watch more shows like this because I really love sci-fi dramas.
