More of the same
If you think you might want to watch this, it's safe to assume you enjoyed the series well enough to want to see more of the same - and that's pretty much what you get here. The first part focuses on Adachi and Kurosawa's first Valentine's Day, and contrasts it with flashbacks of their interactions on Valentine's Day the previous year. The second part is about Rokkaku trying to figure out the closeness between Adachi and Kurosawa and proving to be predictably, adorably wrong in the end.
It's not exactly a bad special, but there isn't much in the way of a plot, and I'm a little disappointed that the writers did not take the opportunity to introduce anything new whatsoever. I don't really know anything more about the characters than I did before. Despite them essentially getting engaged at the end of the series, I don't know anything new about their relationship. It felt like a wasted opportunity because I do like these characters enough to want to know and understand more about them. If nothing else, seeing more of them outside of the office could have been nice!
But you know, it's fine. It's still very cute, and under twenty minutes long. The main couple is still in their honeymoon phase and Rokkaku adores his office dads. (MDL suggests I rate it a 5, but I'm giving it an extra point for cuteness because that admittedly adds entertainment value for me.)
