I've watched Cunning Single Lady three times. I love it. I love the premise (which is a lot less shallow than the synopsis makes it sound). I love the characters. The relationship between Na Ae Ra and Cha Jeong Woo is perfect, and it's developed perfectly. Very funny, as well. It's painful at times, but the conflict isn't drawn out too long, and the couple gets a happy ending.
I would have given this drama ten stars if it hadn't been for the last two episodes. The unnecessary self-sacrificing nonsense went on for way too long, to the point where I actually felt physically sick to my stomach, and by the time the conflict was resolved I didn't care about the couple getting together as much as I did about it all just being over. On top of which, the music is really really annoying. It's worth a watch, though.
This drama had so much potential. And it lived up to it for the first 75%. A fun premise, likeable characters (including the cutest kid ever), and interesting relationships. But then a certain something happened, and everything became all about that, instead of about Kwon Yul and Nam Da Jeong's marriage and life as a family. The last couple of episodes seemed incomplete, and we didn't get a satisfying conclusion to any of the storylines. Seriously, the ending is very, very disappointing.
