When in the mood for simplicity
Such a family gem! I’m so glad I gave this one a chance. It’s worth signing up for the app with no ads.It takes a few episodes to feel like it’s not a sitcom.
The actors and actresses are veterans in other shows I’ve enjoyed and none disappointed. Beware it’s a family drama and it’ll be slow paced but the humor and shenanigans made me not skip an episode!
I binged watched in 2 days and now I’m missing something similar.
The only downside was the intro/ending for every episode. I’ve seen other dramas more lacking do better, and the music truly was meh in my opinion.

If I squealed at least once, it’s a good one
This is definitely not a fast paced series and I loved it, reminded me of the slice of life anime I used to watch!Loved the friendships and the way the relationships progressed slowly. It showed appropriate miscommunication and relationships when in college.
If looking for steamy watch, this is not it, but if you miss those high school series kisses then it is perfect.
I am a sucker for happy endings full of sugar so I wish they would show a special episode from many years later. Showing their friendship and relationships.

Very slow burn romance
It’s not immediate satisfaction or even the same as Bed Buddy, but it touches on realistic elements at the beginning of a relationship.I also suspect Jade is in the spectrum and that’s why he gets overwhelmed with emotions. Uea hints at it a few times and how he has to be eased into anything.
Loved watching the family dynamic this time around and the reason for their emotional hang ups.
Glad I went in blindly and stayed just for the everyday life events. I don’t know why some talked about the lack of chemistry between the secondary characters. There was no need for them to display more and overshadow the main characters.

As I’ve read the book and loved it
I’m quite biased on this drama because I loved the book and enjoyed the portrayal of each character.Unfortunately it’s not the same in a drama so I had my expectations low. While I didn’t love it, I still enjoyed this interpretation of the original story.
In some ways it worked better because there were not as many characters, but bittersweet because some characters I had wished for their story to be expanded after reading the book, were completely eliminated.
I truly enjoyed the actors and actresses.
