It's a good drama about civil rescuing, but kinda lame!!
Light Chaser Rescue, a Non-Government voluntary organization, conducts rescue operations during various calamities. It's a great drama about disaster and civil rescue. The production was great, the cast choice was awesome. All of the production team, including the cast, did an incredible job while making this drama. I had several eye soothing moments while watching this play. I enjoyed it. I rated it 8/10 on mdl. I still have some questions about the plot though.
Let me ask, why a Non-Government voluntary organization, run by some part timer non-professional rescuer, operate on every disaster like traffic accident, fire accident, earthquake incident, mountain rescue, landslide and even from snow-covered mountains? Do China don't have any 'Fire Service & Civil Defense' force? Do they not have any dedicated force for rescue in the time of needs like Army or something? Why are the police and other organizations always asking for help from a voluntary organization instead of dedicated professionals? Even in the last moment, when Dr. Yan gone missing in the Snow Mountain, that happened in a different providence, they asked help from Light Chaser Rescue! I know they had a member in the lost team so they came to get their member. But again, isn't there any other government authority to conduct emergency rescue operations? Why did they have to come from a different providence to rescue their team member? Even when Luo Ben gone missing while rescuing Dr. Yan, on other authorities showed their faces! A voluntary organization of non-professionals from different providence with the help of locals conducting a serious 'Search & Rescue' in other providence, but no other government dedicated force showed up to help them. Isn't it kinda lame?
If it was the case that they were also conducting rescue operations along with other government forces, it would have looked much better. But the way they presented the whole thing to make Light Chaser Rescue the hero, it seems that there is no dedicated government force in China to conduct rescue operations. Or even if the government forces are so lame that everyone always seeks help from a volunteer organization. China's whole civil defense relies on a non-professional volunteer organization run by some part-timer rescuer whom had another full-time job, is that even logical? Isn't it kinda insulting for the country?
