Like a warm cozy blanket in winter
I found the drama comforting at a point where almost anything else I watched kept stressing me out. It was easy to watch as there were no pointless misunderstandings or cringey cliches. The story also did not wander away from the theme and had a consistent plot. So, it's not the typical ROM com. I was reminded of be melodramatic for some reason. This is a gem for book and poetry lovers. The sheer number of beautiful prose and poetry is amazing. The age gap between the leads were also handled properly. I just wished the daughter had some more contribution to the story.
Unlike most other kdramas, I ended up loving the second leads. They are Soo cute. Almost everyone in this story is a green flag, a bit unrealistic but really satisfying.
Finally, the cuteness and comfort of the main leads and their cozy winter wardrobe is the best part of the drama. The chemistry is unbeatable. This has become one of my favorites yet.

One of the most progressive kdrama. No cringe at all. Great Chemistry. One of the best!
The main reason this has become one of my favorite show is because it did not trigger my anxiety with unnecessary misunderstandings and cringe moments like almost every other kdrama does at least a few times. Another reason is the progressive tone. I absolutely love the whole story, the old villain lady and all the female characters. The overall tone reminded me a bit of Be Melodramatic. The main couples relationship hit a bit close to my heart. I am really curious on how they will overcome their differences as the issue they have been in my mind a lot too. The second couple is very nice. The third couple who are near the end of their marriage but maybe in the starting of a good relationship is a breath of fresh air and extremely intriguing. I also like the lack of annoying love triangles which are becoming unavoidable in kdramas.
Another plus is the cinematography. It reminded me sometimes of Goblin. The positioning of the faces of characters appear in the frames and the ways the zoom dynamically changed were interesting.

cute, healing and heartwarming
Just finished watching thirty but seventeen. I found it really cute, healing and heartwarming. The final episodes were a bit heavy though.I really liked the confession. Soo short, sweet and satisfying.
Many people did not like the acting of ML. But I found it sweet and very fitting for someone who has not really matured from late teens. The FL is perfect for this role. Her acting is like always really good.
The only thing I had a problem with is the sheer number of coincidences. But again, it's a kdrama thing.
Another plus was the chemistry and dynamics of the whole extended family. Also the second and third MLs were not really annoying.

Inspirational and heartwarming story.
As many have mentioned, the child actors were awesome.Once again Park EunBin delivers an amazing performance. How can she be so good at singing, acting and everything! This drama finally made me her hardcore fan. The other cast were amazing too.
The love triangle was realistic, not annoying and healthy. It was one of the best handling I have seen in a any drama.
The songs and the performances are ont of the best parts of this one. So many moments gave me goosebumps!

I loved itaewon class for the revenge, romance, healing and the ost.
It was really satisfying revenge, like marry my husband. I have seen a lot of hate in the main couple and the SML. Many wanted Saeroyi to end up with Soo Ah. My thoughts:1. Soo Ah, Yi Seo, Saeroyi
Soo Ah never deserved Saeroyi. It's admirable she was an independent person and made a life for herself. It was not easy to change her way like how she did in the end. She is the most miserable character in the drama. But what she did to Seroyi was a massive. A massively worse version of using the other person like how Yi Seo did to Guen Won and Saeroyi to Yi Seon. But what made it worse was that she is not an immature kid and knew all along the extend of what she was doing, all on the excuse that Saeroyi will not be hut no matter what she did.
When Soo Ah used Saeroyi to justify her life, Yi Seo honestly wanted royi to be happy. In a way yi Seo and royi bet their lives in each other. They might have trouble being in a relationship, but for me they are perfect for each other.
What she did at the end was too little too late.
2) Geun Won
Usually I hate the SML and the love triangle in most series. But I did not hate Geun Won as a SML, but only as a misguided and irritating antagonist in the later episodes.
3) The ending
It is understandable that some did not like how the tone of the show changed from beginning to end. But it felt really natural to me. Especially the goosebumps raising 2 kneeling scenes. The last episode was absolutely perfect. Also the scene when the chairman was eating the tofu stew in the pub.
All in all, it was an inspiring, heartwarming and satisfying drama for me!

A mature and heartwarming tale on love family and relationships
I really liked the acting of Le Do Hyun as the young male lead. Even the chemistry with the older FL was in point even though I expected to experience some cringe, which I did not because they handled the age difference so well. It was the best part of this drama for me.The message and the plot is really heartwarming and inspirational.

Good comfort drama. Just turn your brain off.
It was a bit frustrating to watch. I did really understand how the FL kept liking the ML. I just kept wanting the ML to talk something, anything. The kiss scene when the time was stopped was a bit off putting too.But it was enjoyable overall except the ending.
One of the least annoying SML in all of kdrama.
The comic relief from the FL character was really good.

Really beautiful
I found it really heartwarming. Could not help picturing myself in the shoes of the FL. What I would do if my partner was going through the same. The struggle was shown the best way possible. The background of woodwork was extremely pleasing to me. It had some beautiful shots too. Especially the snowing scene.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Found it almost as good as Moving. Not the typical zombie plot.
The most badass female lead. Awesome chemistry. ML is also good. I really found all of the characters having real depth. The bad ones made me really hate them and the good ones, root for them. There might have been plot holes but I didn't notice them at all because I was really immersed in the story.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Comfort drama with healthy relationships
The only thing I have to even complain about are a couple of cliches and the slightly irritating love triangle which gets better later on. The main couple is soooo cute and the chemistry is the best. My favorite is the lawyer couple though and my crush is yeoung shim!I loved that there were no misunderstandings lasting episodes used to move the plot.

It's really nice and cute!
I dropped it in the second last episode because the way they treated coming out of the closet. Till then it was perfect. Maybe I am just overreacting and they are immature kids. But I lost the urge to watch the remaining 2 episodes. Till 10 it was just perfect. So I want to only remember till then. The chemistry is too cute to handle sometimes! I wish there were more shows with such great pairings.Edit: I watched the rest and loved it. I still feel the coming out part should have been dealt better, at least by the adults. The relationship issues they had were extremely relatable. I really like the conclusions of all of the relationships.
