Zhao Yuan Zhou's destiny might have stayed the same. He died in the end but what makes his character shine so much is because of his selfless sacrifice and his bravery to face his destiny. His death has been the most memorable so far. This episode is where I would say the Fangs in Fangs of Fortune lived up to the meaning of its title. Zhao Yuan Zhou is a very profound character.

The unraveling of Zhao Yuan Zhou's dark path had been an extremely painful journey. It made my heart break for him during this episode. Sadness clouded all over him, the last scene when he smiled very sadly from a distant watching them hugged one another while he is left alone. Neo's portrayal of sadness and dilemma in this revelation of the truth had me burst in buckets of tears.

Another very emotional yet heart warming scene between Wen Xiao and Zhao Yuan Zhou. When he finally gained consciousness was all so beautifully portrayed. This goes out as another fave scene of mine.

This particular episode has stood out among the rest for me. Zhao Yuan Zhou faced his inner demon and told him about the dream etched within his heart. It was all so beautiful like a poem. What makes this even more special is an ost sung by Neo played in the background. This episode had made a marking in both my memory and mind. Apart from Neo's versatility, his execution of the emotionally heavy scene is outstanding, the emotions weren't merely expressed in his face or by his tears but his eyes. Truly my fave scene.

The introduction for the great demon Zhao Yuan Zhou is still vivid on my mind. He had this elegant demeanor yet his entry screamed powerful all over. It was totally unexpected to see a comedic side of him when trailer hints of him being dark and cold, this trait is one of the most commendable aspects of why his character as a great demon has been so unique in c-drama history. The dimensionality in his character doesn't fit the typical but stood out among the rest. Him breaking out of the prison cell was marvelous.
