AMAZING STORY!
My only regret is that I didn’t watch this sooner or savour it more before it ended. I’m now looking forward to ravaging the book series and then watching the anime or rewatching this drama again. I’m so happy now that I’ve watched it. It’s one of those great dramas that tells a story extremely well and feels like it’s a unique story and its characters are always mesmerising to watch. The eye contact, facial expressions and emotions expressed from the male leads and cast were really great and I love that Wei WuXian and Lan Zhan are more polar opposite than perhaps any characters I’ve seen on TV before. From the beginning to the end I love how they never changed themselves and who they were but overtime became closer and more open-minded and mature about the world and so on.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
BEST SAGEUK ROMANCE DRAMA YOU WILL EVER WATCH!
You may not believe me but in case I’m right you should go ahead and watch this drama and see how it compares to others. If by 5 episodes in you believe me then carry on watching it till the end. It’s based on a true story so to avoid losing your sanity I’d suggest reading about the real historical story behind the the two main characters, it will save you a few tears. If you don’t want to cry then please don’t ever become attached to this drama, it’s for your own good. I promise.
They have some of the best chemistry I have EVER seen in screen in a K-Drama and I’ve seen over 200 dramas! And I still say that’s the case. I watched it and asked myself if they were married or dating or just incredible actors.

Good, humourous drama, full of ups and downs.
From start to finish, you'll feel invested in the characters story and want to see it come to an end. I appreciate that the male lead is actually the one who likes her first even though she's the one who's his fan in the future. Often with these stories the female fan is in love and absolutely idolises and worships the male idol (similar to female fans in real life), but I liked that they didn't go down that path and instead she was grateful to him for bringing her into the light and seeing that life is still worth living.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
A lose Korean adaptation of Back to the Future
It has very similar tones and style to Back to the future with the story and the male protagonist, but I like that the characters feel like they represent young people well from that time period and even though he meets his parents in the past when they're young, at times it doesn't feel too strange or awkwardly executed.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
