"Did you kill someone? Today, you are all killers"
This movie is not perfect and don't watch this if you are too soft or don't truly understand the importance of bullying. This movie talks about the hardship of a young girl who has a disease in her sensitive part of the body and how pathetic people thinks. You will get a lot of lesson in this movie and you will understand the feeling of those who experienced bullying. Watch this if you want to feel sad or cry.

I understood the hype
I truly understood the hype. I had huge expectations, and it didn't disappoint. The first thing that I like about this drama is that they made the sister-brother relationship of San Zhi and Jia Xu more acceptable. It's not weird to see since Jia Xu sincerely saw her as his sister when she was still a minor. He didn't have any romantic feelings or show any signs of them. You could feel that it was really genuine.
The second thing I like is the acting of the leads, especially Lu Si. I saw her in two dramas, but this one made me fall in love with her due to her natural acting and cuteness. Now, I also understood the hype around her. She's indeed a good actress. I just couldn't stop smiling when she was smiling. She's so cute!
When San Zhi said something like, "I don't care about the reason, but if you mistreated him, then I'll do the same with you," That's when I fell in love with her character. Again, I said it in my review of When I Fly Towards You: Both of the female characters know how to stand up and fight against those annoying people. They're not just cute, but brave too. It's so refreshing to see that in cdrama because they always present some cute characters that are too kind to stand up for themselves and for others.
And about the chemistry, do I really need to say it too? It's so great! They complement each other from their visuals up to their personalities.
When I Fly Towards You is for those who like youth romance and wholesome friendship. Watch Hidden Love if you like a drama that only focuses on the main lead. Personally, I enjoyed Hidden Love more.

An improved chinese youth romance
Although it reminds me of the usual Chinese youth dramas since it has the same plots as others, this is more like an improved version of them. The characters are more mature, and the choice of songs is definitely a chef's kiss. It has such comforting vibes that it made me cry three times, although I usually don't in this type of genre. My favorite couple is probably the second one. I like them just being supportive and constantly teasing each other. The first couple is the real definition of cuteness. They're just too sweet.
Oh, and I want to highlight how they are so good with their choice of words, especially the female lead. She really knows how to throw the right words at the right person. She's the real definition of being cute while knowing how to stand up for herself and others. This is so refreshing to see in Chinese dramas, as they usually show that cute girls can't be too strong or brave girls can't be too cute.
If you are tired of heavy dramas and want a cute and sweet one, you should check this out. The cinematography and osts are great, and the concept of filming yourself every day is very nostalgic. The friendship is also wholesome, as they also have their own stories.

Unpredictable ending, too many plot twists
Romance:If you are looking mainly for romance, this is not for you because some people might not like the chemistry between them. In my opinion, I like them together. They are so natural in how they show care for each other. So, I don't really mind. Additionally, if you are so focused on finding the culprit, like I was, you won't bother with them.
Culprit:
If you are looking for something unpredictable, then you might as well consider this one. This drama will make you doubt almost all the characters. This is the worst drama if you have trust issues because you will just overthink and overanalyze everything. That happened to me. However, it's a good plot twist for me. You will understand everything if you get the right answer in the end. Everything will start to make sense.
Characters:
Mr. Yoon is a very smart and reliable character in this drama. He saved a lot of people. He made everything possible. At first, I didn't think I would like his character as much as I actually did.
I didn't like Yoon Young that much in the first few episodes, but she started to grow on me. I smiled when she smiled, and I got sad when she didn't.
Soon Ae is one of my favorite characters in this show. She's just a must-protect character, and I'm willing to be one of her protectors. Her existence is already warm enough.
Baek Hee Sub is a funny guy. I laughed a lot because of him. The story of him and his brother is probably my favorite in this drama. I just love it so much.
You'll be annoyed with Dong Sik, but he'll get
major character development in the later episodes. I didn't like his character that much, but I also loved everything he did in the end.
Mi Sook is a very manipulative character. She's so mysterious. The actress did quite a good job of portraying her. I don't have a lot to say since it can be a major spoiler.
This is really good! If you like both mystery and time travel, then you will definitely like this. I also love that it doesn't only focus on mystery and science fiction but also on the families of the characters. I love the warmth of this drama. Additionally, this drama made me so curious about the serial killer. I was really hoping for the culprit plot twist part to be more mind-blowing, and it didn't disappoint me. I'll probably miss a lot of the characters in this drama. I'm kind of sad that I finished it. Highly recommended!

Interesting only at first
First of all, I was really interested during the earlier episodes. A dating show about fortune tellers? That's a really good concept. At first, I liked this, and it made me curious and eager to wait for the next episode. I also liked the thought of having two shamans on the show because I deeply sympathize with them. It must be so hard to live a normal life and date. I also enjoyed the time when Hongjo and Suhyeon were talking all night for the first time. I thought, "Oh, they found their person on the show." It's cute. However, I found Suhyeon annoying in how she handled her situation with Gubong. I get that she's guilty, but she should communicate her feelings with him. She should initiate good communication with him, and not just stare at something while Gubong is trying to talk with her. I don't know, but I found that disrespectful.
Oh, and Hongjo? I didn't actually have any thoughts about him other than that he's pretty creepy and not really interested in Small Hanna. I refuse to believe that he was truly interested in her, even at first. I knew he was going to be into Suhyeon. Luckily, Small Hanna ended up with a good guy. That's probably the only good thing in the show. And don't get me started with Gubong. My heart is still in pain because of him. I'm hoping he'll have his own happy ending in real life.
This is short, but I actually skipped a lot through episodes 5 and 6. I wasn't really interested anymore. I just watched the ending, so maybe I missed something important. I don't know, and I also don't care, lmao.
Would I recommend this? I don't know. I think it's better to watch this in one sitting because waiting for one episode each week is not worth it, at least for me. Also, it doesn't mean that just because I didn't like it, others won't like it as well. This is purely my opinion about the show. Others would like it, and I'm glad for them. And I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a wholesome bond between the participants. You'll probably like one couple, though. They're pretty cute.

A show for people who wear masks
JDramas had done it again with their forte: slice of life. Initially, I found myself somewhat annoyed with the female lead simply because I resonated with her. I used to be a people pleaser, always reading the atmosphere and trying to smooth things over. Sometimes, dramas can hit a little too close to home.I loved how the female lead learned to love herself in the end and didn't end up with anyone; I thought that was the best possible ending. Although, I must admit, I did find myself cheering for Shinji, despite being a walking red flag.
There was a scene in the show that I really appreciated. It was the one where she admitted to hating her mom and said it directly to her. Later, she regretted it. I found it incredibly relatable and realistic. Parents often do things we don't like, which can lead to feelings of resentment or hurt. Yet, in the end, we often regret saying hurtful things to them.
Additionally, because we tended to please our parents or others, we sometimes did things we weren't comfortable with just to make them happy. There were also times when we pretended to be interested or listened attentively, even though deep down, we weren't fully engaged. I think this show also did a great job of exploring these topics.
Someone like her should focus more on herself instead of being with someone else. That was the best course of action. Also, both guys were red flags, though they did somewhat redeem themselves toward the end, especially Gon. I still believed they all needed to grow individually.
I would recommend this series to anyone looking for a slice of life drama that addressed themes such as unhealthy relationships, people-pleasing, guilt-tripping, unexpected friendships, dreams, family, healing, and self-love. If you enjoy or don't mind these themes, I think you would definitely enjoy their long vacation as well.

Great first half, too many plot holes
As someone who didn't read the webtoon, these are my takes on this drama.First, of course, I had huge expectations before it aired, as it has versatile actors in it. I'm a big fan of Hye-sun when it comes to acting because she just never fails. I enjoyed the first few episodes. I loved the vibes that this drama gave me. I loved the concept of remembering your 18 past lives, and each life has its own wonderful story.
I just want to say that the actress who played Ju-won is so great at her job. I wish she could be a big star someday. And her chemistry with the little Seo-ha was amazing. I don't think I've seen other little stars have as much chemistry as they did. I also loved the relationship between Ji-eum and Cho-woon. But the uncle-niece was still superior.
When they started to uncover some things, that's when it went down. It's not that bad, but some things feel unsatisfying. At first, the chemistry between the leads was so good, but it started to lose excitement. I was expecting that they would make the other aspects of the drama better, like the death of Ju-won or the first life of Ji-eum. But again, it failed. I laughed several times due to some serious scenes that I wished would make me not laugh.
Am I going to recommend it? Well, if you don't mind several plot holes, then go watch it. I might not be satisfied with this one, but that doesn't mean it's totally bad. Just lower your expectations and just enjoy the relationships in the show. It doesn't have a super-evil villain, so it's easy to watch. It also has a super cute ending for both couples.

Participants are so kind, mature, and empathetic.
First of all, this is a fast-paced dating show where the participants have been together for just one month, and it only has 10 episodes, each about 40 minutes long. Obviously, a lot of things are skipped, and we don't get to know their full stories. However, let’s talk about the participants because I found them amazing. They are so kind, mature, and empathetic. As expected from Japanese people, they are respectful and have great personalities!Shun - He’s the most complicated participant on the show. If you don’t try to understand him, you might be turned off by his behavior. But if you look at him from a deeper perspective, you’ll understand why he acts the way he does. All of his actions make sense when you consider his past experiences with pain and trauma in previous relationships. I would also be mentally unstable if I were in his position. That said, I actually appreciate that he’s on the show because it highlights how difficult it can be for someone to open up after failed relationships. However, I believe he needs professional help after the show to fully recover and to prevent hurting others due to his actions.
Dai - Oh, to be loved by Dai. Imagine being emotionally unstable and having this guy be so patient with you. I also love what he said to Ikuo: "I'm not the type of guy who would make him insecure." Hands down, respect! Despite being the youngest along with Ikuo, he’s not afraid to address important issues within the house. I admire that about him. The only thing I didn’t like was how he treated Ikuo, but I understand his perspective.
Kazuto - This guy is like collecting men as if they’re keychains, lmao. But am I complaining? No, because I would also be head over heels for him since he’s so nice and has a decent personality. The fact that he doesn’t take anyone for granted after learning they like him is impressive. However, he’s one of the participants I’d like to know more about because he’s so mysterious.
Ryota - Oh, come on, Ryota, don’t push it so hard, lmao. You’re handsome and nice, but you shouldn’t press your affections on someone too much, as that can be uncomfortable for them. Nevertheless, I appreciate how he always listens to Shun and doesn’t get tired of his behavior.
Alen - Impressive personality! He’s a must-have in any dating show because his presence likely keeps things in place and at peace. Although he’s like a peacemaker, he’s not nosy and knows his boundaries. I love that about him. I also admire how he adjusts for Kazuto, slowing down his fast-paced nature just for him. I personally think he’d be a great friend in real life!
Gensei - I refuse to believe he’s already 34 because he still seems like a baby! He’s so cute!
Taehoon - I also appreciate him being on the show because he’s mature, and I like the advice he gave to Shun. I wish him the best outside the show with his family and love life.
Usak - I’ll forever miss his chicken breast shake, lmao. Despite being the sexy guy at work, he’s quite shy. I love him and wish him luck as well.
Ikuo - I love that he told Dai it was painful to see how Shun was treating him and that Dai deserved better. I think that’s true. Although he might seem nosy, I can really feel his care for Dai. I just wish he had arrived earlier; he might have had a better chance with Dai.... or maybe not.
I hope I didn’t forget anyone.
I truly enjoyed the show! It might not be the best dating show, but it’s binge-worthy, and the participants are all nice and lovable!

Realistically beautful
First of all, this drama is not for everyone. When I say "not for everyone," I mean it. If I had watched this 3 or 5 years ago, I probably would have dropped it after the first episode. This show could be a masterpiece if you can relate to the characters. If not, it might just come across as a piece of toxic drama with messy characters.Beware that the following contains spoilers:
The female lead, Qing Fen, is not a likable character; she even admits to herself that she’s a terrible person. However, I strongly believe that she didn’t actually hate Rebecca. She’s just lonely because she’s lost in her life and needed an "imaginary" enemy to make her life more exciting. Unfortunately, that enemy is Rebecca. At first, I was also annoyed with her, but I didn’t completely hate her. In fact, there’s no one in this drama that I completely hate. Qing Fen made me cry multiple times. I didn’t expect to cry while watching this drama. I also appreciated that the drama showed the reality of ending up with someone who loved someone else before you. For me, Qing Fen deserved it because of her past actions, but I couldn’t blame her for being so paranoid about her husband’s ex. After all, Rebecca is his greatest love.
Rebecca deserves everything in the world—endless love and support. However, unlike others, I believe her life wasn’t as bad as it might seem. She was happy and enjoyed her life, but the pain she experienced overshadowed her happiness. It might sound odd, but I’m glad she didn’t end up with the other character. Had she done so, her life might have been less fulfilling and she would have ended up like Qing Fen.
Rui Zhi, the man behind everything. I strongly believe that if he were not in the picture, the two women might have been friends or at least had a different relationship. I’m not sure what to say about him, but I did appreciate that he didn’t get involved with Rebecca.
The younger guy, Hsiang Li. I couldn’t hate him. In fact, I understand his pain. It’s not easy to accept the possibility that someone you love dearly might be gone.
To describe this drama, the title is self-explanatory. It is indeed "Imperfect Us." You will judge the characters and their life decisions. That’s why this drama is not for kids or for those who cannot handle messy characters with messy decisions. It’s for mature audiences. I strongly recommend it if you’re looking for something realistically beautiful. I cried many times. It’s rare for a drama to portray a female lead who is flawed from head to toe. However, I loved it. I enjoyed it. It was a good ride. This drama doesn’t focus on doing the right thing; it focuses on presenting reality.

Female lead remains a stranger even after the show
This movie isn't for everyone. It's a slice-of-life film that focuses on conversations and the strange friendships among strangers and Chihiro. You'll end up with many questions after finishing this movie. There are numerous unresolved storylines, but I personally think that was the creators' main intention for this film. Instead of solely focusing on Chihiro's past, they emphasized her conversations and special bonds with the strangers in her life. I believe this movie portrays strangers as the central theme, with Chihiro, the female lead, remaining a stranger even after the show.Would I recommend this to others? That's a tricky question because I think some people may not like it while others might. Personally, I enjoyed the film because I'm a sucker for slice-of-life stories, and I was looking for something calming to watch. It truly embodies 'calmness'. Despite its runtime of over two hours, it didn't feel long at all.
So, if you're looking for something that focuses more on conversations with others, a female lead who is lonely yet can provide comfort to people, and are prepared to be left with many questions—which can be both a pro and a con since you can interpret the film however you like—then you would definitely enjoy Chihiro's journey.
I would rate it 8/10, but since Chihiro and the other characters felt like a home to me, I would give it a higher rating.

hard-headed kid and a former useless man who just got out of prison turn into a great dad
I randomly picked this movie because I couldn't sleep and didn't know what to watch, but it turned out to be one of the few good decisions I've made in my life. At first, I thought, "Hmm, that kid is so annoying," and "That man is too harsh and doesn't care about anyone else," but I came to love them both deeply. What I love about this movie is the bond between the characters. The child is overly protective of the people she deeply cares about. Whenever she tried to protect San Mei, I got teary-eyed. Oh, to be loved and protected just like she protected him, despite not being related by blood. You can really see San Mei's development from not liking the kid because she's so annoying, which is valid, to giving the kid everything she wanted. Also, I was so amazed by the kid's acting skills. She's so good at her job, lmao. She's cute when she smiles, you would also feel emotional if she cries, and you would feel mad if she's mad.
I'm not the type of viewer who gets deeply attached to shows, but I was disappointed when it ended. I need more. I want to see them hang out, play, and tease each other.
I might be biased in rating this since I can relate to it, but it's really good if you like seeing a hard-headed kid and a former useless man who just got out of prison turn into a great dad. It's heartwarming to watch someone who didn't care about their life before suddenly find something they want to protect and care about.
Additionally, the movie touches on themes of death, as the main character's job involves working with dead bodies. While we often see this as dirty or disgusting, I think it's an honorable job that deserves appreciation.
So, if you're looking for a good movie that will make you cry and has a great story, you should check this out. You won't regret it. This is a good movie about life and death.

Intriguing story about influencers
I'm done watching it, and I really hope if there is a second season, they will give us more scenes of not just the romance of Ah Ri and Jun Kyoung but the friendship of Ah Ri and Si Hyun as well.If you are interested in those influencers lives or if you always drop some hate comments on celebrities, this is a great series to watch. You'll definitely relate to this, lmao. I realized a lot while watching this one: that I should not invest too much in celebrities' lives and not hate someone just because social media told me so. Because at the end of the day, we don't know the truth behind everything, and they're also humans.
It's not the best thing I've seen, but it was really intriguing for me until the last three episodes because things suddenly happened so fast. It's so obvious that it will have a second season due to how they fold everything. I can't wait for that.
Additionally, since the coverage of influencers these days is increasing and we always hear news about these people on social media, this kind of topic is a great thing to tell people. It's also a binged worthy!

If you don't like this trope, just save your precious time
If you don't like the typical teacher-student romance with a bit of mystery, this is definitely not for you. In the first few episodes, you will be annoyed with some characters, but if you continue to watch, you will understand them. Personally, unlike the other viewers, I didn't feel that much chemistry between the leads. I didn't even care if they would be the end game or not. It's not that I hate them. They are just so blinded by love that it's ridiculous sometimes. The female lead's words, "I will still love you even if you are my stepbrother," threw me off. I knew it was impossible for them to be siblings, but still, it's kind of disgusting to hear. The characters are not that likeable, and when I say characters, I mean most of them. The plot twists are pretty predictable since they are constantly dropping clues and everything else. The male lead is immature and aggressive. The female lead confused me so much with her intentions. I thought at first that she was smart, but she's also naive. About the family history and the mother itself, they were not as problematic as I thought it would be. Although the mother was not likeable, she didn't deserve so much hate as well. She's just being a mother, sadly her ways were wrong. Nevertheless, it's not that bad, but I would not recommend it, especially if you don't like this kind of trope. But if you don't have anything to do and don't mind this trope, it's a pretty decent time killer.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

CUTE AND CLICHE BUT STILL WATCHABLE
What's wrong with the female lead? She was pretending as a boy and still expressing cuteness or "aegyo"? It does not make any sense, to be honest. She had eyeliner, and her voice was too cute and soft. And in the end, she was surprised that some characters knew she was a girl; of course, you were too obvious, girl. However, this drama was not bad. It was enjoyable at some parts, while some were too unbearable thanks to the female lead. Fortunately, I started this because of boredom, so I didn't have any expectations.
Watch this if you like...
Cliche story
Prosopagnosia
Narcissist male lead
Kisses, slight tension
A girl pretending as a boy
Figure skating and hockey
Male leads fighting and making up--repeat.
The female lead acting cute, but she's cute. Too cute.
Misunderstanding but will quickly resolve by the end of the episode
An Overly handsome male lead that can weaken your knees
An overly cute female lead that is sometimes weak and strong depends on the mood of the scriptwriter.
A handsome second male lead that frequently misunderstood the situation and was kind of in denial of his feelings, but whatever, he's cute.
Or just watch this if you are bored maybe you will enjoy it more than I did.
