I particularly love dramas that include romance, angst, and something intellectually interesting (whether it's a science-fiction element like time travel or just a comparison of North and South Korean cultures). I prefer a happy ending, but I don't mind tragedies if I feel like the ending is satisfying in a dramatic way.
