Mixed Feelings
I was super into this series at first but it really lost its spark. I love a good exes to lovers trope so that really pulled me in and when that was the main focus I found the story amazing. It started losing that spark after Itsuki and Fuyu got together and I blame this all on the writers, specifically their gender. You can tell they are missing women writers. The only good part of the latter half of the show was the chemistry between the main actresses. I didn't care about anything that happened in their work problems and some "humor" was just horribly done, especially with that old man, it really didn't hit for me and I saw a lot of people having the same opinion. If we were to get a season 2 I would need it to be fully focused on Itsuki and Fuyu, take out every male character, and have women writers.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
MY NEW FAV GL
I didn't know anything about Lookmhee or Sonya before watching this and didn't have much expectations for this series but omg I loved this so much. Definitely going to rewatch this a lot while waiting for their next series (it has been confirmed they will have one!!)Starting off with the chemistry and acting. Sonya and Lookmhee are definitely setting a new standard when it comes to both. Maybe it's because of the fact that they have been friends years before the series, but you can tell how genuinely comfortable they are with each other, which made it so all of their scenes together feel very natural. As well as having amazing chemistry, they both are amazing actresses individually, so when they come together it's even better. I find it crazy that this is their first time being main leads in a series. You can tell how good they are especially in some scenes where some of the other actors weren't really giving their best performance, I think it may have not been as noticeable, but when you are in the same scene as those 2 you really need to give it your all.
I genuinely don't think I would have enjoyed this series as much if it weren't for LMSY. If it were anyone else this would have just been some other GL series but they made it truly special. No one else could have made me feel as connected to these characters or the story. My main complaint is the men, too many and too much screen time imo...so I hope for their next series that complain is seen and the company takes note of it.

LOVED THIS SO MUCH
The fact that I almost didn't watch this because it was so hard for me to find a platform where this was available is crazy. This is one of my favorite bls ever and definitely a comfort series that I will rewatch. I have never watched the Japanese version but after watching the Thai version I definitely want to because I completely fell in love with this series and characters, Karan especially. Karan has to be the greenest flag out of every bl character and as a green flag lover I enjoyed him so much. Especially the scene where they were dared to kiss but he saw that Achi was uncomfortable and didn't do it, something as simple as that goes a far way, showing how respectful he was of Achi's boundaries (some bl characters should learn from him.) I'm not sure if it's because I was so into the main couple but I didn't really care about the side couples.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

We lost the plot.
When I saw the trailer for this series I was very excited and of course wanted to watch it. I love how we are getting more gl series but this one really did not hit for me. I saw the potential in the beginning episodes but as we went on it was like the writers stopped caring about the quality of the story and some plot lines made me genuinely angry because they made no sense or were just put in there for the sake of them being there. The plot got increasingly worse as the story went on and that was no different for the finale episode. The finale was a mess and very rushed. If we wanted to squeeze that much content into the last few episodes there should have been more, or we shouldn't of even started those plot lines at all.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Pleasantly Surprised
I think "pleasantly surprised" may even be an understate but I don't know what other phrase I could use to explain my feelings on this series. I never saw myself watching and enjoying an omega verse series but here we are. I even dropped the series at one point because I thought it wouldn't be my thing but I am very glad I decided to pick it back up and finish it because the series just got better and better, even the final episode was good which is a rare thing when it comes to bls. The writing was amazing and nothing felt forced in there. I was so into the story that I kinda lost interest in Babe and Charlie's relationship but didn't dislike them together at any means. When it came to relationships I only had one thing that I was disappointed in which was North and Sonic. I was waiting for them to officially get together because of how much they were hinted at but they never established what their relationship was, for now I'll just assume that they get together in the future. I also enjoyed Jeff and Alan which was surprising because I'm not really a fan of age gap relationships, maybe it's because Alan doesn't really look that old so it didn't throw me off. Overall a very good series that I never thought I would enjoy.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
THE BEST K-DRAMA EVER
I could also title this "the best show ever," because this drama has set a new standard for shows for me. Everything was perfect and I totally understand why the ratings for it are so high. Every episode was amazing and made me want to watch the next one as soon as I finished one. I am usually not a fan of time-traveling but the way it was done in this drama was amazing. And of course I have to praise the best drama couple ever, YiChan and CheongAh. Everything from the storytelling to the chemistry between them was perfect. And typically when I'm super invested in one couple I don't care about the other one but I was still very much rooting for EunGyeol and EunYu. I want to praise everyone involved in this amazing drama. I had to take a break and wipe my tears before writing my review because of the finale.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
PERFECTION
This drama served in every department. Acting, production, ost, story, just everything was outstanding. I was already hyped for this because I loved the Webtoon and because of Bona being the main lead and somehow I was still shocked by how much I loved this. Whoever did the casting I want to thank you because this cast really was able to bring this amazing story to life. I was so pleasantly surprised by the acting in this show, some of the best acting I've seen in a while, even from the rookie actresses. Jang Da-Ah especially shocked me. I was initially worried about her first role being such a huge and complex one but wow she really brought the crazy that was needed for Harin. I love how the cast is full of women. Bona has impressed me in every single role but Suji has to be her best role yet, the way she portrayed this character was spot on and no one could do it as good as she did. I love how Suji isn't perfect and isn't always morally correct, we need more flawed main characters (that are still likable). One detail I loved throughout the story was the similarities the side characters would point out between Suji and Harin, the protagonist and antagonist. These similarities are so important because yes these characters are similar but have completely different end goals. I was also pleasantly surprised that they were so open with Eunjeong and Yerim's story. They made their feelings for each other more explicit than the webtoon. In conclusion, definitely one of my favorite K-Dramas ever and also the K-Drama that got me back into K-Dramas. I hope there will be a season 2 as they did end with a cliffhanger and a new cast member that I am very excited to see added to this already amazing cast.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

SEASON 2 WHEN??
I have so many thoughts and feelings about this show, it was so entertaining and I would get so excited every time a new episode aired. Anyone who likes plot twists, thrillers, or revenge plots need to watch this immediately. Also some of the best acting I've seen in a while from multiple people in the cast! I felt so bad for Non, so many people treated him horribly. Even though I like Ta and Copper together and their chemistry is good, I wasn't a PheeJin fan because I gradually started disliking Jin as the episodes went on. The character who interested me the most was surprisingly Tee, even though he definitely had the most to do with what happened to Non, you can tell that he is a victim of his surroundings. He was such a well-written character where you strongly dislike (for obvious reasons) but can still understand (most of) his actions. Based off the finale, there has to be a second season coming and I'm also very excited for that and hope it keeps the magic that the first season had. And I hope that New/Tan is actually alive...Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

GMMTV you are my #1 enemy
I really enjoyed this series so much at the start but as it went on, Lune and Star did so many things that really annoyed me and it just continued getting worse throughout the series. No matter how likable the side characters are, if the main characters are just simply annoying it makes it difficult to watch the series.I'll start with the things I enjoyed first. White & Ivy were such easy characters to root for, individually and together. I started this series because I really like Lookjun so ofc I had to tune in (esp because she's playing a bi character). But I was surprised that I was shipping White and Ivy the most out of every character. Maybe it's because they were both hurt by the same person so seeing them comfort each other was very nice. I also think Lookjun and Dunk played off of each other very well (honestly the whole cast did), and this was some of the best acting I've seen from Dunk. I was disappointed that they teased that they would get together but just ended it off on "we can't date, we are better off as friends."
As the series went on I realized that both Lune and Star really need to mature and become better people. Not even when it comes to their relationship but when it comes to their friendships. The way they treated White and Ivy threw me off, not even just because those two were my favs. They wouldn't have told Ivy about their relationship if she didn't find out on their own and then the way they treated White was just horrible. I don't know if I could have accepted their apology as easy as he did, which just shows how good of a person he is. Also the way Star just completely stopped Ivy from confessing to her was just really odd.

Mixed Feelings
The show started off very good and I would generally say I enjoyed the series but there are many complaints I have. The writing in the beginning was very good but as it went on I wanted way more than it gave me. I think this series would have benefited from maybe having 8 episodes instead of the 13 it has. I felt a lack of chemistry between the main leads (nothing against them, I like both Bright and Win) and the kisses definitely didn't help. The story was best when they were in the fake dating stage and was very underwhelming and boring once they actually got together. They felt more romantic during the fake dating stage but when they became official they started acting more like friends than boyfriends. You can definitely tell this is an older series by the whole character of Green. Also adding a woman just to add drama...terrible.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Cute
The headline perfectly sums up this show, "cute." This series wasn't amazing but wasn't great. It's definitely not going to be in my top 10 series of this year but also won't be in my 10 worst series of the year. I feel like most people didn't watch this series for the plot but instead for the cast. If this series had a different cast I don't think many people would have watched this, including me. I personally started this series as a big Neo fan but also because of OffGun, yet Aungpao really surprised me. Dynamite was my favorite character and Aungpao played his part amazingly, so I'm excited to see his journey and growth. I found myself not really caring about the plot of the show. OffGun's chemistry was amazing as usual and it was nice to see Off play such a different character than he usually does. Ten was such a green flag and I'm very happy to see Off play this part. Though my favorite part of the series was definitely Dynamite and Fire's relationship and didn't expect the chemistry of NeoAungpao to shine so much while in the same series as OffGun. This series knew what it wanted to be and did just that.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
The World is The True Monster
If there was one movie that I could choose to erase from my memory so that I could experience watching it for the first time again, it would be Monster. The way this movie told the story from different perspectives that would change our views and opinions was so smart and made the movie move so quickly. I was surprised by the acting, especially by Kurokawa Souya (Mugino Minato) considering his age, he perfectly portrayed the confusing feelings his character was going through. There was a specific point in the movie where I just started sobbing when I had this moment where I went "these characters are so young but already have to worry about what the world thinks of them," and didn't stop crying until the end. I am a pretty emotional person but nothing has had this much of an effect on me. Just a perfect movie.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
A hidden gem
I found out about this series because of a clip of Janhae I saw on twitter (give Janhae a gl main role pls), but I never heard about it before that. I don’t get why people don’t talk about how genuinely amazing this series is, it’s one of the best things I’ve seen gmmtv come out with. The amount of representation and serious issues that are dealt with is amazing. Everytime a new storyline was introduced I was so pleasantly surprised with the issues they covered bc of how well they addressed them. Even though this series goes over serious issues it will definitely be a comfort show for me, it’s very easy to watch and fall for the character’s.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
A New Favorite
This is officially my favorite Japanese bl and I think it is going to be hard for others to compare. I loved how complex their relationship was and the writing was just amazing. I'm not even someone who likes to rewatch shows but I have a feeling I will rewatch this a lot because it was so enjoyable. At first I couldn't figure out how I felt about Mizuki but in episodes 6-8 I completely understood his character. You can tell he really cares about Yoh but just has his own way of showing it.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
A BL Masterclass
I decided to watch this show while waiting for 23.5 to release bc I knew milklove was in this series and didn't expect to fall in love with this show as much as I do. This has to be the best bl I have ever watched and I can see myself coming back to it again and again (as someone who doesn't really rewatch shows). If I had to recommend a bl to new fans getting into the genre this is the series I would recommend. It contains some basic elements of bl but has its own twists. I highly enjoyed how the characters of ink and pa were their own characters, as many bls reduce women to either being the villain or just someone only there for the male characters. Both PatPran and InkPa had amazing development and their stories were very well told.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
