The characters start to gain some color! In the first episode, some characters like Guaju and Chengmei looked a bit flat, but they are slowing gaining complexity as we get to know more about their personal backgrounds. All of them have their own strenghts and flaws, no one is a saint and they're all struggling in their own realities. I like the pace things are going, it makes me intriged. The back-and-forth might still be a tiny bit confusing, but they've added an year mark in a few scenes, which makes it easier to process the information and connect the dots. Also, would like to add I'm absolutely in love with how Qu Shou always tries his best to keep an uplift mood when he's with his friends (whether for guilt or not, it's adorable), although I think it might hurt him badly sometime. Overall, so far so good, I'm still hooked in the plot.

Four Stars

Gotta say it was a confusing yet pleasing first ride. Right in the begginning, we are thrown in the middle of 'Tomorrow's Club' lives without any context at all. That's why it seems a bit messy with all the back-and-forth of past versus present and just glimpses of their story. However, if you face it like pieces of a (yet to be done) puzzle, it's pretty instigating. I'm looking forward the next episodes, it has potential.
