What catches me from the beginning to watch this drama is the fact that the drama was based on the life of Mizuki Shigeru from his wife point of view.  Life is a struggle, furthermore so for a mangaka in the era where manga was not so much appreciated.  Working and doing what you like does not mean that you will get it easy, but if life is a struggle, it's better to keep on going on doing what you like, with the support of the person who is close to you. These are the messages that I get from the drama.

I really really love this drama. This drama brings me the feeling of nostalgia, happiness, sadness and mixed of those. I truly fell in love with all the characters and their effort and love for manga. Outside of manga, there are also stories about family, friendship, and love. The romance may not be as love dovey as Korean Drama. But you can feel the feeling of true love. Love is to support each other, in good and bad.
