Loved it!
I decided to just check the show out, thinking that I would probably not watch it. Boy was I wrong. I was hooked in just the first half hour. The show is such a rollercoaster ride of emotions that I did not like waiting for episodes to come out. It was one of those shows I had to watch as soon a I knew a new episode was out.The generally premise of the show seems so generic, time travel, but the execution is unique and heartwarming. So many in this genre are about going back to stop a murder. How many of those have we seen. But this one is different. At first there is no clear reason for the main character to have been sent back. He has to figure that one out himself. And I like how each thing he does seems to make things worse at first. I enjoyed the plot twists and added tension, as new goals were added. And I think the ending provided a very enjoyable solution.
I think all of the actors did a good job, but in my view, Choi Hyun Wook stole the show. Don't get me wrong, Ryeoun was very good too, but Choi Hyun Wook's energy and humor made me look forward to each of his scenes.
Give it a try! You will know very quickly if you are going to enjoy the show or not.

Very Watchable! So glad I gave it a try.
There is something about this particular cast of actors that makes this very simple sci-fi show very watchable and likable. The story is not anything particularly new, a group of people transported mysteriously through time? space?, having to make decisions about how to survive. The main question being whether or not they will devolve into a Lord of the Flies situation, everyone for themselves, or not. The theme may not be so new, but there is something special about the show, and I believe that it is the interactions between the three main characters and the others who they find themselves thrown in with that makes the show so enjoyable to watch. Not all of the the characters are particularly likable at first, but as each of their backstories are filled in, you will find yourself becoming rather attached to them, even the side characters (including the people they left behind in our world). I don't want to give any spoilers, but I just find it particularly uplifting to watch them work through their challenges.

Another Season Please!
For me this was a truly enjoyable well-rounded fantasy. I looked forward to every episode, and grew very fond of All the characters. Even the support characters are so memorable, whether it be his father, his siblings, his body guards, or his enemies. I truly enjoy the complexity of the story and the twists and turns the narrative takes. Give it a try; I think you will like it. You should be hooked from the first episode. (Note:I have not read the novel.) I thought Zhang Ruo Yun as Xu Feng Nian was fascinating to watch, especially his interactions with his father and Jiang Ni, as well as his other family members, Old Huang, and The God of Blades. Oh the God of Blades ... I think I spent most episodes just waiting for the God of Blades to do something amazing. Yes! There is plenty of action!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Even better than the first season.
If you liked the first season of Sweet Home, you will definitely like the second season. I particularly like the addition of new characters, such as Jung Jin Young's character, the character Seo Yi Kyung's daughter, and many of the characters in the Crow Brigade and the new facility. The story expands to show more of the several relationships: Cha Hyun Soo and Pyeon Sang Wook, Set Yi Kyung and her daughter, as well as Lee Eun Yoo's continued development, and the evolution of the monsters. There are some good twists and turns, and some major changes for some of the main characters ... Seo Yi Kyung especially.I can hardly wait to see where the story will go in the next season.
