Colour grading is off putting, acting is borderline cringey

What is with the colour grading in this episode (ep 8)? Especially of all the scenes in Tianqi City? It's giving off such an old-school feel and it doesn't feel as grand or majestic as it was in Blood of Youth.

This ML is the most annoying ML I've ever watched. He's so egotistical, proud and rude, and before his wedding I got the vibe he was so pushy. Not defending cheating here but I could understand why his ex did not want to be with him lmao
