If you watched this first or this alone, you may conclude that its a perfect 10. As for me who watched both, I must say that the drama is way better than the movie. Although the disciple Si Yin & mortal Su Su were clearly flashbacks just like how it was foretold in the book, these scenes in the drama were not flashbacks and were carefully incorporated so as not to confuse the viewers.

In terms of actors/actresses, I have no say because all are talented but the role of Ye Hua & Bai Qian fits Mark Zhao & Yang Mi best.
