Best Korean BL I've seen yet
I binged Love for Love's Sake and was blown away by how good it was! The actor who plays Tae Myung did an incredible job - I loved the way he pulls the viewer into the story and brings you along for the journey through his eyes. I couldn't help but be wooed by his charm and eyes. His chemistry with the other lead was believable and sweet. You could feel his care and affection for him, and when it's returned, I just melted. I could definitely watch more of the two of them.Overall I was impressed with the story, acting and production - it's the best Korean BL I've seen to date and may be one of my favourite BLs so far! I will definitely rewatch this again.

Adding this to my rewatch list!
This was a pleasant surprise for me. I hadn't read the manga so I went in not holding any expectations - a story about 2 men who sell make up? I thought this would be just a cheesy drama with the same old tropes. While it was cheesy and silly at times, I loved the way the story focused on the two main characters - Mamiya and Sahashi - and their relationship. There wasn't any drawn out miscommunication or drama for the sake of it. Instead, they actually communicated with each other and shared their feelings! It was refreshing and sweet to watch.
The main actors were also great and had amazing chemistry together. I could watch them all day ? The drama also showcased a lot of intimacy between them which was believable and so enjoyable to watch.
Overall, I would watch for the chemistry and sweet boy love. This is definitely on my rewatch list for when I need a nice feel good drama.

Surprised at the high rating
I wanted to give this a try given the high rating but I was fairly disappointed. Having seen Love for Love's Sake (currently rated at 8.8), The Eighth Sense (currently rated at 8.1) and To my star 2 (also 8.2), I cannot understand how this is rated at 8.2.I mostly watched till the end though to see if the show got better and how it would turn out for Shin Woo.
The premise of the story about a fairly awkward high schooler who is attempting to make friends through joining the student council on the advice of his teacher. He ends up in a love triangle between 2 other members of the council. But a lot of elements didn't make sense - where were the other 17 members of the student council? Does Shin Woo's attitude towards Tae Kyung in the beginning really make sense? If he was interested in him, why push him away so hard? I get that they were trying to build a plot but the character portrayal didn't make sense.
I did actually enjoy Tae Kyung's direct and honest character, and his newly discovered love. The scenes of him with Da on in the beginning were cute. But Da on's acting was pretty flat and 2 dimensional. Most of the acting in the show wasn't great. Maybe it was also the weird pacing that also got in the way.
Somewhere in the middle of the series when I was about to drop it, Shin Woo's awkwardness grew on me so I hung on. I felt his sincerity for Tae Kyung, although their relationship seemed rushed at the end. I didn't really feel Tae Kyung's affection for Shin Woo the same why that he was longing for Da on. It was also a fairly short period of time for him to get over his feelings.
Overall, I would suggest skipping it if you're looking for a high school romance. Watch Love for Love's Sake instead.
