The FL love the ML. After being hurt by ML. The FL reborn/shed mortality and wants nothing to do with the ML. The ML chases after the female. Like the book "Flipped".

It's all about female sacrifices. Both ended tragic. You question why does it have to be this way? Both drama begins with two opposing male leads falling in love with the female lead.

One had more freedom while the other trapped like a mouse. The male leads are starkly different; one for protection through heartfelt love and the other for protection through possessiveness (a different kind of love).

Great team with cool male and strong female character. light hearted funny and a great ending. No sappy dramas. No harem. No female have to choose which male is for her (thus no endless wishes from the audience that the female should be pair with the other male)

The female traveled by in time, super crazy and funny. both main male character are handsome, famous, and beyond.

political fights among brothers; the girl traveled back in time, made ancient history.

There a sweet BL couple within "The Lover" drama. It's really sweet as well and it ended happily.

Warm BL for fans. Cute display of affection.Both are pretty short.

The supernatural theme of the story. Mushishi is much more passive than Gegege no kitaro. The actors: one is younger than the other. Might seem like one is the past and one is the future.

Cheap kind of film so both are not top quality. Both leaves unsatisfied feeling after finishing it. Not as bad.

Similar drama style; can't describe the similar feeling as the director does it.
