I discovered Godzilla on Youtube when I was in elementary school and he simply changed my life. I never knew a monster with such symbolism would change how I see filmmaking especially through storytelling and VFX. Godzilla is the embodiment of disaster, horror, fear, and tragedy. This is simply how a monster is created, and how you fight the question throughout watching many Godzilla movies: can you show sympathy for the monster or the people?
