This story is also a beautifully done coming of age story that portrays love, friendship, and the passing time. Both stories made me laugh and cry.
The original version of Little Forest that was split into two parts is a great watch. While the Korean version holds my heart I like to watch this version every once in a while as it has the same peaceful feel and really great cooking scenes!
While the Korean version stole my heart, the original Japanese version of Little forest was also a great watch. It keeps the peaceful feeling of the Korean version but with more time to flesh out the characters and the story. It is also interesting to see how the recipes differ.
If you love Kim Tae Ri then this is a great follow up series. She plays a youthful main character in both of these titles and embodies her characters so well!
A similar fantasy filled story line with some dark elements. I watched both around the same time and though thought they both told a good story with some similar magical elements.
