So Anle has to sit still and hear fake Di Cheng'En issue slander and lies about her family. While the Crownprince tries to ignore the evidence given.What a coward. I wonder, what is in that box, Anle gave the Dowager Empress??? I guess a list with 80.000 names of victims on it.

So it's over now ...

Last episode left me disappointed. Although we got a happy ending of sorts it was.... kind of "meeehh". Han Ye understood, that and how much Di Ziyuan really cared for him. The entire corona around Anle tricked him to do her bidding. But there is a scene missing, where they seem to be at a place with a child with black hair capering behind them...Also: hair black. Then white. Then black again. Huh? Once it has gone white hair only regrows black in Cdrama Land.

Han Ye bring stubborn

"Am blind. As you only loved me for my beauty don't wanna see you."Yeah. Hmpf. Han Ye going Mr. Rochester now. And nobody told him that her hair had gone all white out of grief. He misjudged her. Also: how is it that Mo Shuang can have a man in her retreat and nobody knows or cares?

Angsty ride

So Han Ye died of 3 deaths:poison, arrows and dropping off a cliff. That's a bit much. Lengbei disappeared. Northern Qin got defeated. But where is Lengbei? And where is Han Ye's body?

This episodes is playing "the big Hudini" with spectators:

tadaaaaa... off he is. Killed for justice. And tadaaaa ... oh, no. Not dead in fact. Yeah. Han Ye and An Le united in battle. Oh... yeah... not united anymore. He sends her off with the words that he won't see her anymore.

That episode would have made a greate ending

Episode 31 would have made a great last episode for that drama. A bit unsattisfactory ending. But main leads separating in a calm satisfiying way... that would have been it. With Anning staying in the capital and Lengbei not being an ahole about her.

Don't kill Luo Minxi!

Emperor wants revenge for having had to overturn the case 10 years in the past. Things turn nasty as Lengbei uses people to stirr up trouble in the name of justice for Di Ziyuan and incarcerated Minister of Justice Luo Mingxi. Turns out that the Emperor seems to know the matriarch of the Di family also and hate her just as much as his mother. One wonders, whatfor?

What a ride!

Very closely Anning finally stepped up and told the entire court that she had been a witness. She had seen her grandmother, Empress Dowager acknowledge havin sent out a forged document. And Ren Anle told Han Ye (falsely) that she only had been after her revenge. And that she had never planned on being his Crown Princess, nor be with him. What she didn't tell him was that and how much she loves him. Yet still: there are players in the shadow. What abput that female Di family elder who left the red wine bottle next to the river?What does Lengbei and his kin plot?

Will it end well?

Still much turmoil and suspense one episode short of the ending. Sooo good! How will things go on? Qingqing comes back. Will she resume the affair or has she gotten wiser?

All is good that ends well.

Evil gets its just deserts. Truth comes out. Main couple doesn't go back to the office noe into another one. They both start realizing their personal professional dreams.Many happy couples, no second leads curse here! YAY! Rewind. Rewatch. I loved it!

Second leads finally happy

Su Mo's cousin and Wang Jian finally are happy together. Introducing another vilain: Zhong Rong's ex sister in law. Who wants to blackmail her ex sister in law with having whitened her CV upon application at Ansheng, having hidden that she is divorced with a child. Wang Ju An already knew as he overheared Kele being tutored in maths.

Adding even more tension: Wang Ju Ans snob friends and snob childhood enter the scene
