**I have made a few edits after re-watching this drama recently**

!!Contains VERY minor SPOILERS!! -- !!Contains VERY minor SPOILERS!! !!

For starters, I am a HUGE fan of Kim Soo Hyun. I've seen him in a few dramas and movies and I'm always impressed with his acting and on-screen presence. He really is one of the best actors in his generation.

I've never been a big fan of Jun Ji Hyun though, but she totally won me over in this show. I love dramas that show a lot of character growth so the fact that Chun Song Yi was rather un-likeable in the beginning and then became such a charming character by the end has a lot to do with some great acting, in my opinion. Plus, it just makes for a much more interesting story.

Overall, I loved everything about this show. Even the "You are my deeeeeeestiny~~" song really grew on me, so I'm unashamed to admit that I might actually stop and remiss for a bit whenever I hear it playing in stores (*Edit: I was living in Korea at the time).

My biggest disappointment (and the one thing that is keeping me from adding this drama as one of my all time favorites) was the general trajectory of the plot. I feel like way to much time was wasted during the show on things I really didn't care about while the producers had such an awesome chance to explore so much more. This is a genre that's relatively new to the Korean drama scene (at the time it aired), so I was curious about a lot of things that were never addressed and so many missed opportunities that just passed by. Oh, well. It's a minor complaint really.

One of my favorite things about the show is that it remained lighthearted and funny throughout it's run. Any seasoned drama fan will agree that this is a rare feat. Usually shows become boggled down in melodrama and angst towards the end but even when You Who Came From The Stars was being serious, it still managed to throw in some humor. Plus, it never lost it's ability to pull on my heartstrings either. So many sweet moments! It was just about the most perfect combination of heart and humor that I've ever seen.

I will miss this show a lot. I'm happy it had a successful run, and so happy for Kim Soo Hyun for getting another ratings hit. I just hope this doesn't mean he'll be leaving television and moving to the big screen permanently! Crossing my fingers~
