This show is bonkers

This show starts off as a cute romantic comedy but half-way through it becomes really dark and messed up and stays that way for the rest of the show. I found myself thinking, "HOW DID WE GET HERE?" multiple times throughout the second half of the show, and yet I could not stop watching. I am still in shock as I'm typing this.

Other than that, the ML and FL are cute and have good chemistry. I found myself rooting for them despite some rather ~toxic~ moments that made me uncomfortable. Maybe it's just their chemistry and the fact that it's a tv series, but I can easily understand why some viewers were put off by this show.
