One of the best web dramas out there - a must watch

This deserves so many more views - one of the most underrated web dramas I've come across honestly. There were so many things that this drama did well - from the absolutely stunning cinematography to the lovely stories of friendships and first loves. It's definitely not a watch for when you're looking for something serious to commit to, but a much more lighthearted, beautiful show to pass time (and I found it to be an amazing filler between shows).

First off, the plot, although arguably clichéd in some senses, did a perfect job of portraying the sublimity of life in my opinion. I'm probably biased, as a fan of slice of life dramas, but there wasn't a moment I felt bored or unsatisfied. The plot somehow gave me nostalgia of experiences I've never experienced lol and it did so in 10 episodes of about 12 minutes

I loved all the characters, but I particularly adored Da In's witty and charming personality. She has a certain eccentricity that, when paired with Yeon Woo's "sad puppy" persona, fills the hole of a brokenhearted first love incredibly well. I don't know what it is about her, but her character is so normal compared to a typical female mc, that it's refreshing. Meanwhile, the other supporting main cast is no less sparkling. Jae Yeong was perfectly casted and I loved Seul Gi to round off the main male trio. And Han Na brought the humor and wit as well.

The music! You can't ever go wrong with BOL4 and thankfully, they sang one of the songs on this show's OST. The music was just as expected - bubbly, light, and refreshing. It was perfectly appropriate and to be honest, music is not something I notice in many shows, but you could tell how well the music suited this show.

Finally, I obviously can't finish this review without an ode to the cinematography. The production quality was incredible... like when I say incredible, I mean easily better than certain dramas with much larger budgets. The shots of Jeju Island made you feel like you were really there and each scene had a warmth that matched the vibe of the characters/storyline.

Playlist always has amazing web dramas but this one takes the cake in my opinion - it was perfectly executed down to every detail. Some people said they felt unsatisfied with the ending or how some characters' stories were cut off, but I felt like that was the beauty of it. A second season would just be milking it imo and it's perfect as it is. Overall, this was such a beautiful drama to watch and if you can't tell by this review, I would most definitely recommend it!
