Maybe it's just me but; the female characters annoyed me a lot, I wanted to know more about the males story (eg. Tokugawa Ieyasu, Nobunaga Oda, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Iemitsu.) than the womens. Acting (on the womens part) was okay but not the best. Too long as well, especially with it being about a woman's journey (not being sexist but for the time period it all happened it, wasn't the best story to pick). Nevertheless, there were some parts I was emotional (certain male characters deaths) and some parts were good, just wish it hadn't been focused on the sisters and more on the males - but then it wouldn't have been Gou ~ Himetachi would it? haha xD
