Been watching dramas on and off for as long as I can remember, started with cdramas and tvb dramas when I was little. Got back into it again seriously in 2018-2019.
My favorite genre is mystery, wuxia, and historical.
| FIRST TVB DRAMA | This was the main type of drama from my childhood so what my /first/ tvb drama is I don't even remember. But the oldest tvb drama on my completed list that I remember watching and one of my faves is Dragon Love (1999) |
| FIRST CDRAMA | Probably Huan Zhu Ge Ge (1998) or at least the one I can remember most vividly. Definitely one of my favorite dramas. 3 of the leads became my faves. (Ruby Lin, Alec Su, & Vicki Zhao) and I've mostly tried to watch anything that has Ruby Lin in it. |
| FIRST KDRAMA | Goong (2006) but Kingdom (2019) is the first kdrama I actually cared about. Funny enough, they both have Ju Ji Hoon as the male lead crown prince. |
| FIRST TWDRAMA | Sound of Colors (2006) mainly for Ruby Lin initially and then for her and Wallace Huo, and the fact that those two have their happy "ending" now real life with a daughter even if they didn't have one in reel life is just cherry on top. |
I don't really have a set rating system. It's all based on how much I like a drama. I actually have chaotic watching habits and start a lot of dramas at the same time. Whether or not I finish them or when I finish them is whole different thing.
