I love watching Asian dramas and movies. Obviously, that's why we are all here. My first Asian drama was 'Heartstrings' and the first movie was 'Library Wars.'

My Favorite Shows to date and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Secret Garden,  Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, Goblin, Another Miss Oh, Black, and Hwarang.

Things I look for in a drama;

1. Original storyline (I don't watch remakes or different versions of same dramas)

2. Good acting (because many times acting can make or break a drama)

3. Plot twists (I binge-watch and hate when the story starts dragging. A drama needs plot twists strategically placed to make it interesting and binge-worthy)

4. Last but not least main lead(s) that I can like (if I don't like one or both of the main leads then I am not watching it, period)

Things that really don't matter to me;

1. What actors/writers/directors/producers are like in real life. I don't care at all. I don't even follow them on social media because I don't want to know. I just like watching their work and that is all it is. I'm here to appreciate art and as long as these people are doing their jobs well, I'm not judging them for anything else. I'm just not interested in drama outside of the drama.

2. How realistic or not the drama/movie is. I'm not looking for REALITY, I'm here for the FANTASY.

3. How much everyone likes or hates something. It's ok, we all have our tastes and preferences. I will respect your opinion (even if you don't respect mine).

What I love the most about these shows;

1. Culture shock! Honestly, that's what got me hooked in the first place. This is the main reason why I watch foreign dramas and movies; To see and experience different cultures through them. And I love it all, the good, the bad, and the in-between because that's what makes the world so COLORFUL.

2. Everyone is beautiful!

3. The way these dramas portray romance is just so special. Let's face it, no one does romance like Asian dramas, sweet and cliche but a whole lot of fun.

4. And more importantly, a wide choice of genres. Seriously, there is a drama for every mood and every taste and because I like to switch between genres often, this is perfect for me. THERE ARE SO MANY CHOICES.
