grew up on british murder mysteries and now i'm addicted to thrillers. |
as stated above, psychological thrillers and murder mysteries are just my cup of tea. otherwise, anything quirky, philosophical, or psychological usually fit the bill :D i especially love when shows use warm color grading. one of my favorite tropes is found family! i tend to avoid shows with romance like the plague, however there have been a few exceptions! i am a huge fan of well-written villains. |

| i suck at bios but welp...here i am! so- i love reading/writing poetry, as well as drawing/animating. i'm bilingual (fr/eng), speak some spanish, & am starting to learn korean. my favorite things in life are cozy blankets, pjs, plushies, and my cats. i'm always down to talk about any of the shows i love! |

I rate based off of certain more "objective" criteria (ie: plot consistency) as well as some more subjective factors (entertainment). Just because I rated something low doesn't necessarily mean I didn't "enjoy" it. Any shows I rated 8 or above I highly recommend. |

| The only thing I'm confident about is my taste in shows o7 |

what i love in shows: | what i hate in shows: |
- found family - friendship & other platonic relationships - (psychological) thrillers, murder mysteries, darker themes - (well-written) girlbosses - complex/interesting/fun/smart overarching villains!! - quirky characters - corruption & redemption arcs - cinematography & symbolism
| - romance (usually) - romanticization of toxic relationships - stupid, illogical main characters!! - episodic (no underlying plot) - fetishized queer relationships - mis-portrayal of neurodivergence/disabilities - open endings that don't serve a purpose - excessive plot convenience |
i accept all friend requests but idk what they really mean on mdl!
