Similarities in both BCE and LYOL
-- Female lead who has many familial responsibilities, being the only daughter of the family
-- Mother of FL puts many expectations on her and relies on her a lot, FL acts almost like a second mother to the family
-- Mother of FL tries to delegate parts of her daughter's life, like where her money goes, who she's dating, her other major decisions
-- Part of the reason FL's mother is so nosy and annoying is because she herself lost part of her childhood/youth and has lost meaning in her life besides the fact she is a mother, both moms of FL try to vicariously live through their daughters
-- FL eventually decides to start living her own life, to gain a little more freedom or independence, and FL's mother strongly objects because she wants her children to stay with her (until marriage).
-- ML plays a major role in helping FL through her independence journey, he is very supportive and caring towards FL, even though he himself comes from a background of having no family who cares for him except his grandmother (lol very crazy how in both dramas, both MLs only have their grandmothers)
-- ML and FL meet at FL's workplace, and start off on the wrong footing, both dramas showcase a haters to lovers development
-- By coincidence, FL ends up getting involved with ML's grandmother (in a good way), and that is one aspect of fate that only makes their relationship stronger
-- Both dramas have a side couple involving a lawyer + FL's sibling(s)

polar opposites bickering duo forced to work together in the law field when they did not like each other. Both MLs have a bit of a haughty personality, while FLs are absolutely fed up with MLs antics. ML and FL begin to work with one another and slowly realize they have great teamwork and are not so bad after all. Both are two of my top fav dramas, super enjoyable.

Similarities:
- High school coming of age drama with themes such as first love, studying, exploring family issues
- Follows a gang of friends who grow and enjoy life together while being students
- Friends that go on trips together (ex: beach trip and going on little getaways)
- FL (cheongah and zaizai) fall for ML first, and are generally very quiet and shy in front of ML, and ML develops feelings for FL later
- Slow burn romance plots pretty much all throughout both shows, including in both main and side couples
Differences:
- Twinkling Watermelon has time travel involved, and heavy focus on music, and includes non-hearing characters
- When I Fly Towards you follows the characters from high school to after high school and is more focused on the development of romance and friendship between the main characters, while Twinkling Watermelon is highly centered around the ML's relationship with his parents, as well as his friendships he fosters after time traveling.

Both are botany horticulture related. Bio Homme has no romance and is fairly short, and revolves around how plants can help with mood therapy. However, both dramas feature cold and handsome MLs who are mostly married to their work. I was hoping one day there would be a full, longer drama projecting the themes of Bio Homme and I believe Romance of the Little Forest comes pretty close to it. Both are really nice watches if you like plants and nature.

In both, the leads live in apartments across from each other with side-by-side balconies. Both stories have the leads bickering and they're super cute together. The plot for both dramas is haters to friends to lovers. Both follow FL who start working in a new company and how they succeed in the workplace. Both stories have a main couple and side couple, all couples are pretty cute. Nice amount of comedy, and romance, and overall healthy relationship.

ML and FL are a bickering duo in the law field and settle cases together. The dramas show cases episodically; a new case every episode. Leads are at each other's throats some times, but at the same time also have out-of-this-world level chemistry. FL in May it Please the Court was demoted to a less-reputable office, while in Ishiko to Haneo ML is sent to a less-known office and in both dramas they are paired with a very unlikely partner who they don't get along with at first. Both dramas are very comedic, heartwarming at times, thrilling at times, and all-in-all give good feels. Happy watching! ^^

I have yet to watch the original Japanese version of Legal High, but I have watched the Korean remake and it reminds me of Ishiko to Haneo a lot; leads have a lot of dynamic and chemistry with little romance (actually none really). Both are fun legal comedies and the drama goes case-by-case every episode.

There is some dialogue in Nice flight that talks about how the skies are connected for airplane flying and it automatically reminded me of Soratobu with the iconic skies connected line. Both dramas are also about aircrafts and include similar themes.

Both dramas discuss the unsung heroes of their respective workplaces. Unsung cinderella has no romance while Nice Flight likely has romance. Both are very heartwarming dramas.

Both are heartbreaking stories involving FLs that try to distance themselves from the ML who they love but know they won't be able to stay with because of terminal illness.

Similarities:
- Both dramas are bout the journey of a start-up company that aims to better the lives of those in need
- Both dramas include a love line between the main characters who are colleagues and business partners in the start-up
- In both dramas FL is inexperienced in technology but she is headstrong and passionate about helping and making a difference; and both FLs maintain leader positions in their start-ups
- In both dramas the start-up company is attempting to become successful through a competition; in Start-Up they are participating in a Sandbox event, and in Unicorn ni Notte they are participating in a competitive event held by Cyber Mobile (CEO Haneda Sachi) called the Unicorn Creation Project.
Differences:
- Since Unicorn ni Notte has just started, I can't say much about differences except that in Unicorn ni Notte they are also addressing the issue of age-knowledge gap in the workplace, where one of the new employees in Dream Pony (name of the start-up) is a middle aged man with little knowledge of technology. Although he has been in the economic workfield for a long time, he has little experience with technology and thus is a disadvantageous asset to many companies who adopt technology in their work. Despite this, he is a seasoned worker and passionate about learning more about technology. In Unicorn ni Notte we will likely also see his development and relationship with the FL, ML, and rest of the Dream Pony team.
